Been consumed by politics lately, taking a break and looking forward to seeing the Braves kick the Mets and Phils back into their rightful second and third places again.
Believing mildly in destiny, I can't help but bet on the Cubs overall for the National league; this will be their 100th year since they won a World Series. I think the real reason they spent so much money the last couple of years was to make this year in particular the "one".
In the American league, we know the usual suspects, though the Tigers definantly look better with their own trades and now in a division sans Santana. Overall I l'm an underdog guy though, and will put a small bet on Seattle; I think they have the talent, support, and are in a good division to get ahead if managed right.
Anyone else looking forward to baseball season? I'd love to discuss it!

yankee fan here. not big on the national league so can't comment on your braves.
It is going to be very odd to not have Joe Torre on our bench, but i hope he does well with the dodgers. Classy old school guy!
when i was younger i didnt have the patience to sit through a baseball game on tv... how I look forward to baseball season these days. kinda stoked about the Giant game tomorrow...although the competition is quite heavy
-I will subtlety invade your psyche-
can't stand baseball...hate the Patriots...I'm done with Sports for awhile.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
O yeah i cant wait for the most BORNING sport on TV to come on. The one the Canadians play with the rock on ice is funner to watch.
I never liked baseball so just ignore me.
Every sport can be boring on TV.
Football and basketball both get very repeatative as each team tends to us the same 3 or 4 plays the entire game. Hockey and soccer can be uneventful for most of the games. Tennis and vollyball are almost too controlled. There's a lot of down time in baseball...
I'm sure we can all agree that being at a sporting event live is much funner than watching it on TV. I have seen all the sports listed above in person and have enjoyed them all. I like baseball the most though because of the suspense. It's the only game where anyone has a chance and it could turn at any minute. The one thing all the other sports have in common is you have a good idea of who's going to win before the game starts and how it's going to be played; that's rarely the case with baseball.
