which faster? client from internet or Disc?

which is faster? downloading the client from the internet or getting it from a C2 Disc? aka the chaotic chronicle collection edition disc?
I put the disc in... and it auto update so long! it took like 2 hours now but the bottom bar is still empty while the top bar is always fill and fill. so should I cancel it and download the client instead?

lol, my Lineage 2 disks are OLD so it's taking forever for me too, i think i'm working on 5 hours now.
my question is, if i stop the update, will it continue where it left off when i boot it back up? i'm terrified of having to start over if i close it down.
I guess ill cancel the disc and download instead.
my comp crash once and when i launch again and it auto update to where I left off so I guess it does save the progress.
cool , thanks for the info, i'm gonna update the rest later.
but yeah, i'm deffinatly on 6 or so hours by now. loooooong update, but these discs are from when the game first game out so i can't blame anybody but myself
np.. and thank you too for helping me decide and let me know it is more than 5 hours by disc.
