Ok, I just bought a new PCI video card and it should be on the way, but I was wondering, Just because my RAM type is DDR and the card is DDR2, does this mean I cant use it?

DDR and GDDR are different.  1 thing that makes GDDRs generation advance so quickly is that a Video Card does not need its internal parts to be upgradeable.
