    Any English version out there?

  • alakramalakram Member UncommonPosts: 2,301

is free to play with item mall. Item mall games are not perfect and are not balanced. The more you spent, the best you are. The game looks good but it will be better being pay to play.

Anyway, if you have fun, its perfect for you.

Have they fixed the translation yet?  I gave it a try but a lot of the quest text was very poorly translated, and that's something I just won't tolerate in a game. (hence the reason I steer clear of most f2p games)

    Hey Deb

Congrats on finding a new fav game

I tried it once and played for a while to reach the level I need to shout globally asking looking for certain people ^.^ and then it told me I need to buy something from item mall to talk to everyone on the server. Made me laugh and angry at the same time.

Game was pretty good with so much imagination put into it, would have continued to play on if I could communicate globally and make some new friends.

Really happy that PW makes some people happy to play it (unlike me haha).

    All the best

i think its better if you will reach the lvl of 60~80

    you will enjoy better

dungeon quest, crafting (higher lvl of equips)

    and mostly arena

    I agree.

I love this game alot. Lots to do, great graphics, great community, the goldsharking and cash shop plugging could be fixed, but it's easy to ignore really. I love the high level alot too. In games like Ragnarok everyone is in a constant rush to max out thier character and compete like rabies infected dogs over town flags. This game I can relax, because I'm positive I will never, ever get over level 100, at least not this year.

    Is it worth to play?

I would suggest this game to anyone.  The only thing bad are the translations, but theyre not THAT bad. I can still understand what it says... Its just like reading what a little kid wrote lol.

I have only been playing for a few days and I instantly loved it. I got in the game and was checking out the interface and my skills and saw "fly". I was like "WTF... you cant fly at a low level in games.. ever!" I clicked it and my guy jumps in the air, does a flip, and wings sprouted out of his back!

Another BIG plus is the graphics. Theyre much better than most MMORPGs. The shadows of the characters are the best I've seen in most games. Its not just a circle like usual. Ive looked close and can tell there must have been a lot of work put into the textures too. I havent played on lower settings to see if really old computer can play, but Im sure most computers could. You'll just have to check and see.

I give this game an 8.5/10 because of the slightly messed up translations.

I fell in love with this game too. It is much much better than any other game made with the same game engine, and there are many (such as 9 Dragons and 2 Moons). This game has everything. It has a lots of quests, balanced XP tables, PVP, Beautiful Graphics, Beautiful and big world to explore, Flying, Auction House etc etc.

The most interesting part is that the game is interesting. I get really easily bored of RPG games, and that's why I haven't played any mmorpg in the past year. This game has kept me interested, because I have all the time something to look forward (like new armors, new wings at lvl30, mount at 40 etc).

This game has everything that every popular mainstream game has. The only thing different is that the world and the musics are so beautiful, so it makes me feel like I'm in a real faerie world. It's such a nice feeling.

So now we know that everything in this game rocks, except this few things:

    - The chatbox is WAY too small, and the font is annoying and hard to read.

    - It's very difficult to type in different channels like Guild, Party, World etc.

    - It's sometimes poorly translated, even I could do better and I'm not even native speaker. (example: "he had dead")

    - The quests are sometimes very poorly guided. Sometimes it just tells you to kill some mobs but it give you no information at all where they are, and the world is BIG. (but internet helps)

    - The combat system is strange. When I press shoot, it starts casting after one second, not immediately.

Okay it's a free game so it must have some bad parts.

One thing I'm really missing is an ENGLISH FANSITE that would have guides to quests and so on. If you are not in a guild or have nobody to ask for help, then you are very lost with some quests. I found a guide for level 10-19 elf quests but it's in some strange language but it still helped me a lot.

This game gets an 9/10 from me.

no game is perfect. not for every player anyway. if you find a game that has everything you look for, enjoy it. chances are someone else will find something they wish were different. i dont believe this game is perfect. but i do believe this game is very fun to play. pvp, item crafting, 6 distinct character classes. and its free.

I concur with most of the posters that PW is one of the best F2P MMOs out there currently.

The developers of PW have learned from many different MMOs out there and merged many well-thought concepts together to produce the mechanics and feel of PW.  It's also very easy to solo your way into upper levels if you so desire, well at least as a werefox.

If I had to pick a few negatives of the game, they would be:

    1. the menu UI is fairly primitive
    2. the translations are strange at times
    3. you can't mix class & race in character creation
    4. the player-market-stalls have made western dragon city a difficult place to move through
    5. as far as I can tell, there is no UI/keyboard command to cycle through targets (must use mouse clicking)
    6. after the first 50 levels or so, the range of creatures which can be tamed drops significantly (really only effects werefox)

Other than those few things, I really enjoy PW and will continue to play it for the forseeable future, periodically checking to see if there's anything else out there that's better
