Did you read my post? It can't be any simpler then that. Blizzard should make Diablo 3, but with WoW graphics. You know how some games go for the realistic approach? And the game ends up flopping because not everyone has a high-end rig... the game movements are very robotic/stiff too. PvE just doesn't bring the excitement as PvP does. Controlling the PvP market and PvE could only bring in more money to them.

Because the Diablo IP is a PvP only franchise? Last I checked Diablo and Diablo II were mainly PvE games and PvP was only a small part. I fail to see how making a Diablo based MMO would control the PvP market.

First of all, PvE is the ground base for every succesfull game. Most people spend more time im pve then pvp. See Fury, the idea of this game was good... but its not going well, couse people also want pve to relax, farm stuff, and so on.
Diablo was also a pve game, the PK system was terrible....
Well, and I think Blizzard would rather make a Starcraft mmo then diablo mmo, because it plays in the future... would be something different. But I could Image a diablo 3, just with the same gamestyle as diablo 2, but with better grafics , aminations ... would be nice and I would buy it.
With WoW graphics. It's been so hard to find a good pvp game with the smooth graphics of WoW.
Well I think the next MMO from Blizzard is going to be World of Starcraft so maybe it'll be their 3rd.
Starcraft 2 isn't even out right now. I doubt it's that.
Since they were probably starting on WOW when they made Warcraft 3 I wouldn't doubt it. Warcraft 3 came out in 2002 and WOW came out in 2004. Thats probably why they're keeping the idea quiet because they want Starcraft 2 to come out before they mention WOS.
If I were to play Diablo 3, I would not want to play witht the cratoony graphics of WoW (although I do love them).
I would wrather it be a lot more detailed.

I agree, I would prefer they stay true to the franchise. Cartoon-like graphics work for WoW and the rest of the Warcraft franchise, however Diablo is a very different thing.
If I play a Diablo MMO I want it to be Diablo, and Diablo has it's own art style and most importantly, it's own atmosphere.
I adore the art in the first two Diablo games, and I hope they stick to something similar if they make a sequel.

Nice rookie guild btw.
You could easily forgo being PK'd in Diablo II. You had to announce your PvP intentions in town and anyone could just port back to town to avoid you which was completely PvP safe so there wasn't that much PKing or World PvP going on that wasn't consentual. And perma death was only if you played Hard Core mode and most people played in private games when they played hard core to avoid being PK'd. Actually it was well known that most PvP'ers were very frustrated that Blizzard didn't allow PK'ers more freedom. WoW PvP servers are actually much more PvP centric than Diablo or Diablo II ever were. So I'm still having a hard time figuring where you are getting the notion that Diablo was known for it's PvP and WoW isn't. You got that backwards.

And thanks for the compliment on my guild.
WoW has carebear pvp. Capturing a flag isn't PvP. There is no consequence to WoW pvp. There is no world pvp in WoW. Arena sucks... cause it's balanced around druid pillar humping. WoW has factions. WoW's pvp is a joke. Diablo's pvp was far better then WoW's in most peoples eyes.

I know somebody who is working on Starcraft 2 atm. And I fail to see why they can't create 2 games of the same franchise at the same time...
You know it, the best way to realize your dreams is waking up and start moving, never lose hope and always keep up.

Games don't have to be like Fury in order to be known for it's pvp. Like lineage 2.
