that thing that happened on 911 was a wakeup call

no matter how we got to that day. no matter who was ultimately responsible. no se apoye la puerta.

as the industrialized world will leave old tech for new tech this century, the old tech will become more available. a controlled world is the only solution at this point. who better at the wheel than the good ole US of A? no one. none. zip. zilch.  trust me, if Gore would have won the electorate vote, this world would've been in deeper, more troublesome water. you need control. and  bush gave it to you and still to this day, doesnt sway his conviction. that man deserves your humble gratitude for the compelling leadership he has given this world. i know it was fate that had him in office while others plotted 911. and i know that while he 'mortgages your childrens future' economically, he is providing them with the chance to have children of their own.

i used to be one of them anti new world order cronie conspiralists, but now with children of my own, its nice to push the world in the direction your country wants to push it in.

its time to fight where these democrats fight. dirty and in the streets. we need to beat back these liberal hordes. they bring far too much emotion to common sense and reason. im done with being polite and correct which is subjective anyways.

cheers for pissing on our founding fathers graves.

the only thing bush does right is that he does what he think is right.   but it's sometimes just so wrong, even if the point of the president isn't to follow the whims of the populace(thus 4 year terms instead of 2) you need to stop sometime.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

bleh that post went grammar dummy on me...

He clearly went way out of bounds and still is, when compared to where the executive branch is supposed to be.  as for the war on the middle east, I think any body who parties(typical demo/rep, every pac, and special interest group) would consider eligable for the presidency would have done the same stuff there(special note people who would actually win an election).

Bush is just the scapegoat where this was a coordinated war effort by republicans democrats and the UK politicians to make war. better have the illusion of one man/administration to fault than a whole nation. the USA got away and still gets away with your emotional war while bush is only to blame. who really can blame the whole US of A and make an entire nation suffer, when only one man is to blame? brilliant!

the USA got the helm, relax and just enjoy the ride. we'll take you to a better end than the alternative.

Well for your personal amusement I'll bite.  All I gotta say is I look forward to the apocalypse because that will be my time to shine.  When everyone's worth is summed up by their proficiency with firearms and their ability to exercise military training and execute strategy- I will be king.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Looks like we're in for nasty weather. ... There's a bad moon on the rise.

Ah, the romantic human, still dreaming of a big and powerful ending. A true old-fashioned struggle. A return to simpler times. Woe him who dreams of glory on the battlefield while installing a toilet (or any other practical skill which actually involves a non-nuclear wasteland aka reality) will be the true virtue of the future.

I had one of the Rangers who is mentioned by name in the book "Black Hawk Down" as an instructor.  The guy had been through some serious shit.  He pulled me aside one day during training and said to me- "You know what, you're gonna make a damn good soldier."

Coming from him, that meant something to me.  I did things to impress him.  On the range we had these racist chariactures of chinese soldiers with big buck teeth.  I would shoot out their teeth and he'd laugh his ass off.  Times like that were the only ones I ever felt pride in anything I did.

I just work for a living now.  I have a stupid pointless job like most everyone else.  I pay bills and will pay bills until I die.  Reality sucks.  Until I have children I will always welcome the apocalypse over being 26, single and friendless, watching the best years of my life get wasted, accomplishing nothing more than my continued meager and lonely existence.

Yeah...  I need a hug today.

Your monologue reminded me of that little speech in Fight Club: www.youtube.com/watch

I fear the world has gotten complicated in the sense that you don't see the fruits of your labor. Sure, you're part of the massive capitalistic machine, and sure, you're a soldier in an ever growing economic war between various blocks in the world... But how's that heroic? In fact, how is that even recognizable as something worthwhile? It isn't.

Hence that now, perhaps more than ever (at least on a personal level) you need dreams and realistic aspirations.

Hey, don't be so hard on G. Bush. I mean the Americans did enter Iraq to bring peace to them which never worked and kinda made things worse. He only had good intentions, he wouldn't have dreamed have goign there for the oil. I mean the U.S dollar is completely f***** atm and without oil it'd probably worth the value of the paper the dollar note is printed on. I wanna be a keyboard warrior and shove it down your 'amazing' presidents throat.

I served in the navy in the '90s. if i were young and didnt have a family to look after, i certainly would enlist again. this time probably army or marines. im that type of guy.

and so is my brother in law...

yesterday i attended a farewell ceremony for my brother in law at Fort Hamilton Army Base here in brooklyn. it was nice. he tells me his unit cannot wait to get there. local news was there probably because there was a congressman who attended, Vito Fossela, republican. you see, he volunteered last year to serve, knowing where he would be going. so now he goes to texas for a lil more training than off to 'camp cupcake' in iraq. I wish him the best and hope democrats don't pull the rug out from under him this election cycle. but hope is for Obama, i know democrat politicians will betray and undermine his efforts.

Yea, we're up over our eyeballs in it now, so we should stay in. The problem is, if we cut and run now, next time we're tested the opposition will expect us to cut and run. And then again the time after that. Eventually, we'll be tested far too often. That will cost even more lives.

Frankly, how does Obama intend to deal with the next crisis if he cuts and runs from this one?

The reason we have a strong military is so the opposition thinks twice about testing us. What good is that if we don't show resolve? They have to realize that if they mess with us, we will mess with them even more.

The world is a mean, nasty, place. It's Darwin's law, survival of the fittest. You blink, and they'll lean on you more. You gotta be diamond, you gotta be steel, if you want to survive. Being the Pillsbury doughboy just won't cut it. Nobody ever steps out into the street at high noon to take on the biggest, baddest, fastest gunslinger.....and the Pillsbury doughboy won't deter anybody.

actually, Osama bin laden did say the american people cannot stand a long bloody war, that we would 'cut and run'  and it appears he was correct.

if only we can run a war with an iron fist and just be done with it.
