The posted date is a bit old, but this has to have Mythic shaking in their boots a little bit.

We might actually get a Warhammer game that isn't trying to be World of Warcraft but is actually bringing us the brutal, violent, war filled world of Warhammer 40k.

This have been announced for a while now. So not really big news to me. But there might be people out here who havnt heard of it. So they might find it interesting. ^^

Being a reader of the warhammer 40k novels (I currently own 'let the galaxy burn', fifteen hours, and desert raiders and plan on picking up the Gaunt's ghosts series), I'll definitely be playing the crap out of it most likely.

Probably just be a Tabula Rasa clone with Space Marines.  Although seriously yah your right if they can pull it off it would be awesome......... thats a big if tho

I don't really care, but if it looks good closer to release I'll keep an eye on it. However I wonder why you posted this on the Warhammer Online forums? Wouldn't this fit better on the Pub considering the only resemblance between the games is the Warhammer franchise, and not even that is the same.

Oh my God. My heart stopped beating there for awhile. I thought there was news about a major update to the Warhammer 40k MMO project. But the article is over a year old.

Well Warhammer 40K MMO has a bigger more worst similar to wow than WAR has, influence by a strategi game, why make a game by onother? Well the game is probably going to be the "next big mmo gengre" Sci fi MMO like I see it, Richard Garriott's game Tabula Rasa is one in its kind, and is looking to be more similar. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is a game with old roleplaying style with swords and shields and magic, and some guns and powder, But Warhammer 40 K is in "Da future! It's actully 2 different type of  game, like table top Work shop.. Its like comparing A high elf with sword and shield with a Space orc with a machine gun.. Would be great to see Warhammer 40k But i stick to waiting and hopyfully having alot of hours with war, into WAR
