What are you some kind of psychic? Because that's what you would need to be in order to know how many alts anyone has ever had...
And if I actually had that many alts than I would of been IP banned a long time ago.

Those graphics arn't as good as DF's graphics. At least not the DF screenshots. Unless you are judging them in some wierd way, I think most people would agree with me though.

The graphics in DF's screenshots seem to vary somewhat. I think it is better to compare gameplay video. It is probably better not to have stellar graphics though, so more people can play the game.
Your mind is like a parachute, it's only useful when it's open. Don't forget, you can use the block function on trolls.
And if I don't remember wrong those screenshots are from 2005? Anyhow they're look great due to the timeline.

That's true, and also not true. A very well designed and good looking world, goes a long way to helping a setting feel more tangible. Which also isn't directly related to how many poly's you pump into it. Just look at the old EQ2 vs WoW debates as far as, which has the better looking world.

Although that is true, what I personally think is this. If the gameplay is great and I'm having a good time, the graphics are always the last thing on my mind. Don't get me wrong, I love having good graphics, it's just that gameplay is always more important.
That is my opinion of course, as some people see bad graphics and are completely turned off the game. It is important to have decent graphics, but if a game has decent graphics but amazing gameplay, people will play.
It's extremely challenging for a game to get become a huge success with bad graohics, though.

The DF screenshots look quite a bit better. The DF graphics are by no measure "pathetic" especially not for an mmo. If they were then every mmo to date has "pathetic" graphics except AoC if you have a really nice computer.
How many people here are waiting on DF because they expect it to have awesome graphics? Any? Now how many are waiting for DF because they hope it will have great pvp and pve gameplay? It looks like they have plenty good enough graphics to make the world feel right.
Even if the game didn't exist(which is pretty out there to believe) we could still debate screenshots and videos.
EDIT: don't pm me either catizone I will just read the thread if I care what you have to say.
I agree about gameplay > graphics, assuming the graphics are at least tolerable. Of course, I may not be the best judge, since I played Roma Victor for 2 years. (MMOWTF award winner for Worst Graphics, 2 years in a row)

I hate the AoC website - it's 100% flash, which i block.
warhammer is ok,
darkfall website needs an overhaul, but i think DF has the best quality of dev journals - BS free and to the point.
War is also by your measure an imaginary game, since it's not yet released.
