Which PVP server are you joining? (pvp and rppvp only)

I'm just interested in who is joining the PVP servers and which one. I'm not interested if your joining a PVE server.
as of right now I'm looking to join Bane.

Honestly, I fear that PvP servers are not for me. I played on one in beta and at least fore the first 30-40 levels the zones really are made for grief and ganking. This is good for some, but as I look to my own enjoyment of a game ...just not the right fit for me.
However I believe there will be a significant number who will enjoy these servers. I do worry that the roleplayers who generally dont play on PvP servers may be in for a bit of 'culture shock'.

The reason why it interest me is because I feel like you can really get real enemies and real allies. People who will police the server and people to trust.
I came from UO, so that is an important issue for me, I want it to feel real and feel as if I truly have friends to call for help.

I sure hope the Pvp-rp server will have active GMs. Not like the game with many names.
Been playing Lotro for about 2 months and the RP server i just wonderfull. Otherwise i'm thinking of joining a pve server.
Cimmeria
I was planning to go with Bane or Cimmeria.
I'll probably be playing Bane... I'm not positive in how different either the two server types will be, other than for naming policies, but I'll probably start on the strictly PvP servers. I might move to Cimmeria with another class once I learn a little bit more about the server types and how they plan to implement "RP" in this game.
I would like to join Cimmeria, but I don't want to be FORCED to rp. I know it sounds weird. But I like it for the community. I'll RP in world chat, but in global chat I don't want to be force to RP, it just doesn't feel right when you don't have text bubbles.

Going for the RP-PVP here cause i believe it will have a more balanced and mature community. I dont mind following those few rules to be apart of that community.

You wont be forced to RP. You can talk like you normally would.. I just think the content will be inforced more strictly. Like for instance, you can't go into global chat and say "OMG I just PWNd that NOOBZORS HAHAH!!" You will get warned if someone reports you(and someone will). I'd imagine if you do it enough, you will get suspended or banned from the server. Naming is going to be strict, that goes for your name, guild names, titles, etc. You can't name someone, Buttgoblin, Ruler of the Stinky Cheese.. in a guild called Weenerwankers Corp.I believe that I read somewhere that you can talk however you want in private tells and guild chats. But, if you are goofing off in any sort of team, group, general and someone takes offense, you are subject to consequences.

I see.I never have been the one to say pwner and stuff like that. I just talk like a normal person. As for my name. Whether I go to PVE, PVP or RPPVP...i always name my character as if it were a real name. no nublstickpwnerer here. Something like Callistae or something like that would be how I named my character.
The only problem I see though is if someone gets upset because they lost a fight, and didn't like that I talked normal, then they tend to bitch and report anyways because they don't like me. And that's not what I want to run into. I play fair and I expect everyone else to...reporting just bugs me when you don't do anything to be reported against.

I'm on a guild with a bunch of old school SWG friends on the Tyranny server. I'm very excited because this group of people lives and dies PvP. I'm sure I'm going to get raped alot but it's nice to know that some folks have your back.

LMAO! Buttgoblin, Ruler of the Stinky Cheese!Beleive it or not, I actually came across someone in another "popular" mmo whose name was...Shlongoblin, in the guild...Cookies and Cream. Your post reminded me of that. LOL.
