    Although the cake is a lie it's still by far my favorite. I've yet to taste a pie that's even half as good as a decently tasty cake.

    I've been waiting for a thread like this

    I have always thought of cheesecake as a pie, I'm not sure why.  But I do love apple pie

    Not sure if this counts but I vote pie, by sheer virtue of shepard's pie.

    Pie, unless the cake in question is Icecream cake..in which case, cake is the superior product.

    Apple, cherry, peach, pumpkin, blackberry, blueberry, lemon, coconut, it goes on and on.

     

    The sheer variety and greatness of pies easily dwarfs the goodness of cakes.

    Cake, i like cake, i like black forest cake, i like cake with blackberry. but i don't like any cake with strawberry. i think strawberry is very strange taste. i hate it. it's not  sweet enough and i hate its color. all things with strawberry with the pink, i hate it very very much.

    I say Pie. I like cake but pie ranks tops for dinner and desert. From warm chicken pot pie to warm apple pie.
