Thailand has come up with the best freaking idea ever to protect children on the internet.
"The country’s Cultural Ministry wants Buddhist temples to host the cafes because monks would keep a close eye on children and mete out stern punishment on anyone who gets out of line."
Too bad we don't have many buddhist monks in the US. I don't think people would want to send thier children to Catholic Churches for internetz.

And anyway, i prefer to have control of what my child does, not a government babysitter or a religious sect.
"Oh dear, Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy.. for shame, as punishment for ganking that boy- think on the transient nature of life and where you fit into it."
"Oh god nooo! Anything but mediation and introspection! Can't you use the fist of death instead?!"
parents?!?!????
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
And anyway, i prefer to have control of what my child does, not a government babysitter or a religious sect.
I second both statements, Zorvan.

QFT! and thanks for the laugh hehe.
BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.
I would say that I agree; what are the parents supposed to be for if not protecting their children? Are they too busy to do even that?
It makes sense in Thailand and other asian countries because of how people access the internet. Usually through a PC Cafe. The Thailand government has found that current Internet Cafe's can be an unsafe place sometimes used for nefarious activities like drug dealing. Its not like parents ever have 100% control and supervision of what thier children do.
