I have only done a few and that was right before the servers went down. I was able to do a fatality as someone the same level as me appeared in the zone. not the greatest but ill get more

As a 13 Bear Shaman (I'm 16 now), a 19 Assassin tried to jump me in the Tortage sewers, but missed the stabby. I was nowhere near an exit so I just dove at him and unloaded.

And I beat him. I had about 20 life left, but I beat him. Even though he was a horrible assassin, it made me feel no less proud.

Lesson: If you're ganking as an Assassin, don't miss.

Also, last night a 16 Assassin with much more skill was camping a respawn point in the sewars, jumping people as they resurrected. He was camping the dead body of me and another guy, until a Level 21 ran through and slaughtered him. I made sure I ganked him as soon as he came to, then camped him for a few minutes until I left before backup came.

I'm taking more than I can dish out (I was one-shotted by a 24 assassin in stealth on the Isle off of Tortage), but I'm learning my bear shaman isn't easy to take down.

A question for the gankers... what do you actually get for killing another player? Do you get to loot their body in any way? Some XP? Or is it like, do it just cuz you can and it offers some interesting battles?  Thanks
