I played UO for 5 years, SWG for 1 year, and WWII Online for 1 year also.
I'm looking for something new to play. I've been looking at buying Horizons.
Any suggestions?

Dont get horizons. It's horrible. Your best bet would be to wait for WoW or EQ2. Most of the 'disgruntled mmorpgers' in this forum are doing just that. (Myself included)

Try FF, its a great game once you get into it.
To be honest i would not play Horisons because of the company thats runing it (Games Network). They damages an amazing MMORPG, Legend of Mir 2. With there lack of service and bad managment.
If your looking for a new game to try, Try Legend of Mir 3. Before you spend any cash on a game give Mir a go!! Open beta is due to start on 14 August. It will be a free download of the client. Nothing to lose but i prommise it will be a great find if your in to MMORPG's !!

I know the veterans of this board are probably getting tired of me answering this same question over and over with the same answer, but based on based on the games you have played and the fact that you are considering going back to SWG I would have to say that Anarchy Online is your best option. You've played UO for 5 years so I would have to assume that you are a fan of a skill based system with heavy character customization. Although AO does not have a true skill based system, you do upgrade your character by using skill points given to you ever level. Since you have played and are considering going back to SWG I would assume that you are the fan of the sci-fi genre. AO is a futuristic game where the control of nano bots takes the place of traditional magic. I like the way this game breaks the fantasy MMORPG mold by incorporating robots, guns, vehicles of air and ground, computer terminals, randomly generated indoor mission environments, bureaucrats, and many other elements of a "high tech" society. Even if you are looking for a taste of fantasy AO provides that as well with the Shadowlands expansion (which comes free with 7 day trial). If that is not enough to sell you Anarchy Online has the undisputed best community. I have never had a problem getting some to answer a question or even take the time to show me where to find something. Allot of people harp on this games extreme learning curve, but with the community and guides like the ones found here: http://aovault.ign.com/thegame/guides/ with a little effort you should have no problem over coming it. Plus the learning curve keeps most of the immature and generally "undesirable" players out! Finally this game should keep you occupied till the release of WoW, and with a free trial: http://www.anarchy-online.com/content/downloads/tryout/ what do you have to loose? (make sure you download the deluxe edition!!!)
I'd say Resubscribe to SWG....depends on when y ou were last on...a lotta changes have been made
then again I agree with thecandide.... Anarchy is an oldie but goodie too
