My Pros and Cons of MapleStory.

I recently quit RuneScape and ever sense, ive been looking for a new game to play. One of my best friends IRL told me about this game, and so I gave it a shot. Ive played for about 1-2 months now and here are my pros and cons for those of you who are wondering "Should I play MS or not?" These are just my opinions, so no flaming please.
PROS:
Nice looking graphics.
A 2-D MMO, something different =D
A nice combat system.
A variety of armour and weapons.
The map is a good size (without including hidden-streets.)
Boss Monsters
In my opinoin, newb friendly.
Fun gameplay.
Nice Skills.
CONS:
Getting into mid levels, it gets a bit grindy. Into higher levels..it can be very grindy.
Training is repeditive (What I mean by that is even party quest are repeditive)
For party quest, need to spawn camp.
Focuses WAY to much on the Cash Shop.
Community - Havnt had a lot of problems, but a lot of players are under the age of 13.
Hackers. (I havnt seen a lot, but I have seen a good number.)
Some skills take awhile to get up.
Inflation of economy (Things in MS seem to be overpriced a lot.)
Game seems centered around killing monsters..killing monsters..killing monster..and your ocasional quest that the goal is to kill monsters. (lol)
If anyone has any opinions they can post and tell me. If you think theirs somethign I should add to the list please tell me 
. Anyway, overall I think its a good game. the bigest problem I have with it is the concentrarion on Nexon cash and its a grindy game. But if your looking for something different, deffinitly give MS a try.

Not trying to be argumentative or anything, but can you explain to me how the focus is too big. I mean, once you think about it, of the focus is going to be big. It's the only way Nexon can make money off of this otherwise free MMORPG. It just seems like too many people say that the focus is big when really it's just advertisement. It's not like it disrupts gameplay or anything. I mean, without people spending money on the cash shop, Maplestory propably wouldn't be as good as it is today.

Well in my opinion its way to focused on the Cash Shop because you practically need the to buy Nx just to keep up with everyone else. You need Nx for a shop license to sell things in a shop, to change your hair/ apearance, and to keep up with everyone else's 2x experience. So there is a lot of focus on Nx in my opinion since almost everybody seems to have it and in order to do anything worth while you need to buy it. But that's just my opnion. But It really doesn't bother me that they have a cash shop.
Ok. I thought you were one of those people who were like "cash shop makes little kids steal from their parents". I see too many of those. One of them even went on the news.

My opinon of the economy in maple story is that its getting a lot expesiver. Like the price of ilbis.
And yes,it focues WAY to much on the Cash Shop. Most girls or boys say "looking for bf/gf must have nx". I don't like how having nx items makes you look stronger or better than others
Oh and Wildman, try FlyFF, its 3d, great graphics and combat system. Really good party system.

Yeah, most people in the game I should say focus WAY to much on NX. I know that without it, Maple Story wouldnt be Maple Story, but they focus to much on it. You can still have a good gaming experiance without it, but with it youll have advantages over people with it.
I agree. Inflation is too much overpriced in Free Market. Training, takes extremely too long.. players are only getting 0.04 - 0.01 of exp once you reach to mid level, and drop rate is super low except on ETC drops. The game gets boring, I quit a while (like a year) and come back for a few months.
And I heard Private Servers came out for this game.
I heard that too, but Nexon is sueing some of them, so they will probably be disapearing as well.
I always felt like I needed to smoke weed in order to enjoy Maplestory to its fullest...
Good game, and unique, far to cutesy cuddly for me though.
