Hi there.
I bought yesterday a Vanguard box for 10€.
Now i would like to know, if i could first use up the buddy key to play the game, because i dont have much free time this month.
So would it be possible to enter the Account Key from my box to get the 30 free days, some weeks after ill use up the 10 days buddy key?
I hope somone here can help me.

On EQ2 you can use the trial. On POTBS (While not an SOE game) you can use the trail.
You can't (or could not) use the trial on SWG simply because you get the game client and only need to subscribe to continue playing. You won't need to buy the client, if you buy the client you will get the missing expansions and name one other game where you get 30 days when you are buying an expansion.
I'll ask again when did they make it so that you can't use a trial and then on same account get the initial 30 days when upgrading the account?

Well, not sure how it is these days but when I started back in September I first entered buddy code and fooled around a bit just to see if the game is really that horrible as people had been saying over here on mmorpg.com. Then I went abroad for 3 weeks and when I came back I decided to subscribe to the game. When I entered game key it looked like I wasn't given a month free. But then when I entered credit card info and subscribed I got a month free (next billing of my cc was 1 month from the day I did it).

iv seen a few people not get there free month, its broken . but they have not fixed it so its kinda like a scam
So, based on that link, the "Free 30 days" in box is considered to be a trial and thus doesn't stack with the free 10 day trial? That's a load of manure because the VG CE box says a 30 day free subscription is included. That is NOT a trial...I feel like that link fans the flames of confusion further.
