Character customization

Hi,

Have been away for awhile, tried AoC, not bad but not really my cup of tea... too much instancing and customer service is appaling, not a true online world experience. Would like to revisit Vanguard but am put off by the lack of character customization ( one thing AoC exelled at). Is there any news of when it will be brought back. The latest screen shots of toons make them all look as if theyr'e on release from some sort of institution. Genuine enquiry, no haters flaming plz.

This is going to be updated in GU6 - they have not said when exactly that is going to happen though

 

As far as I can tell they are updating all character models, as well as adding more customization...

I would guess late Aug / Sept - but thats just pure speculation

There isn't as much individual customization for a single race as in AoC but there is a lot of custom looks with a lot of races and if you just do the math there are huge numbers of distictive appearances.  Once GU6 comes out there will be even more.  One thing you don't have to worry about is being in a crowd and having everyone look the same.
