Trying to find a song..

ok, this is sorta like a "looking for game" except a song, or songs. ok

Basically anything that i can put in my playlist with "Alice in Chains - Rooster" and "Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes"

Something light rock, with something sad behind it...im sure you get the point by now.

"The definition of over doesn't have to be, "The End"

Bah, "Behind Blue Eyes" is a Who classic.  Not saying there is anything wrong with Limp Bizkit's version, but if you want the best, go with the original:

But anyway, listening to Limp Bizkit's version reminded me of another old classic.  "I'd love ot change the world" by 10 years after.  Give it try, it might be just what you're looking for:

Hmm, I didn't know you were going to put me on the spot.  I thought you just needed one song.

But, let's see if I can help out again.  Try this song.  "Green grass and high tides" by The Outlaws.  It's more country rock, but the title alone might cause you to reminisce.  Hope you like it:

Best wishes to you when you go overseas.  Regardless of which nation you fight for, if you are doing it for the cause of freedom, you are doing a noble task.

    Hello again.

     Here's some recommended listening;

Vermillion Pt. 2, Circle - Slipknot (two different songs, not one song title)

Bend the Bracket, and One Lonely Visitor - Chevelle (same)

      Serenity - Godsmack

Arms of Sorrow - Killswitch Engage

Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin

Where is my Mind? - The Pixies

Schism, Lateralus, Sober - Tool (you get the picture)

Some sad, some just peaceful, some are a little angrier, but I consider them all somewhat mellow, and calming to a degree.

        Hope it helps.

I don't think pandora is available in Canada anymore.

Personally, I like songs that tell a story. Some of my favorite 'story' songs are:

Robert Earl Keen - The Road Goes on Forever and the Party Never Ends

Bob Dylan - Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts

Richard Thompson - Vincent Black Lightning 1952

Marshal Tucker Band - Fire on the Mountain

And, just because no play list is complete without it:

    The Eagles - Last Resort

I'd also recommend loading up on Jackson Browne and Jimmy Buffet.
