SGW seen in the motion picture Wargames: The Dead Code

Just thought i would mention this but in the beginning of the movie two kids are "playing" Stargate Worlds for a brief moment. It is however apparent that this only a movie since one of the guys holds his hands up in the air while his character still keeps running.

They also mention World of Warcraft.

Just as a FYI for everyone, this was confirmed as actual very early Alpha in-game footage given to MGM by CME on request quite awhile back.

I was streaming Wargames 2 over Netflix last night and saw them playing at the beginning.   I thought it looked like Stargate IP, so I backed up to confirm.  Yep, Stargate Worlds.  Menu screen on the monitors confirmed it.  Came to post something but found this thread already here.  Surprised me to see gameplay footage in a movie.

    Terrible movie BTW.

If you have a Neflix account go stream the first few minutes for the heck of it:

I'd completely forgot about this, I immediately paused the movie and hit the SGW web site to check the status and you have a playable game in the movie yet you have a shell of a web site with no media lol

Yeah, this is really old news. It has been discussed along time on SGW forums.
