Ever sense I have descovered Guild Wars and have been reading about Guild Wars 2, It gets me to think..is Arenanet the MMO company with the best customer service? I mean, the games free, Guild Wars 2 is coming out soon which from what I read sounds like it will reseble WoW and will still be free (besides the box) The games designed to work on computers who arnt the best around and have lower quality internet, The game has a anti-grind feel, It may not have trade skills, but it has a large map, many quest and fantastic PvP. This is just my opinion, but Arenanet sounds as though their too good to be true (lol) Anyone else agree or disagree?

i agree with the most part but it does not really resemble WoW, there is the public quest system in which you can find yourself in the middle of a quest just by travelling eg) you walk through a village, dragon attacks village, you can choose to help the village by bringing supplies, the supplies were stolen by bandits, you go after the bandits etc.
im not sure if it has an anti-grind feel as you may level up to level 100 or even unlimited levels but im sure there is a plateau in which if you level farther, it will only be for aethetics reasons
I agree. Through my experience, they make an effort. For example, the community manager logs into the game regularly in order to chat to players. They also have representatives who read and respond on various fansites and forums, including this one.
Apart from that, they host regular events, release quality content that usually contains very few bugs etc. Of course they have their flaws, such as their views on farming, but all in all they're great.
Currently known as the power level cap. Your skills and attributes are capped at a certain level, but you may go on gaining levels for the fun of it.
yes and the reason guild wars doesn't have a whole lot of people is because many people don't like instancing as it takes away the feel of immersion, GW2 will be in a persistent world with only instanced dungeons (so you don't have to wait for hours to kill a boss)
Well considering most of the A-net employees are ex-blizzard employees. They know what's going on. The CEO (I think) is one of the main guys that created the whole Battle.net network and knows how to make the servers cheap but relatively staple. I love them, the game is balanced very well and they know what they are doing. GW2 sounds fantastic and they delayed their original plans to have beta start in 2008 to make it even better.
Yeah, im hyped for GW2, sounds like once it comes out, it will be my MMO for some time. But what really got me to believe that Arenanet actually cared about customers unlike a lot of other companies, was the subscription fees. Because the game is still really good, but you dont have to play monthly. I know some games wear their a pathetic attempt at a game, but they cost 10-15$ a month.
You do know that Guild Wars has 5 million registered accounts, right? Yes, accounts (according to the NCSoft website).

that may be true, but a friend of mine has come on and off, he even quit playing for a year. and now he is back. his account still active nothing lost. so yes maybe 5 million registered accounts, but how many active ones? though one thing is for sure i always find a party regardless of the day of the week or time of the day.
GW is one of the best games ever made (in my opinion) stable mostly balanced, amazing pvp, great story line. although its instanced i dont really care, makes me get some action right away instead of camping a mob.
Yes I understand that not all accounts are active, but even if half of them are, 2.5 million active people is still far ahead of the closest MMO to it. You must also remember that they're constantly selling new copies. I was shocked when I created a perma-pre char the week before last. There were tons of guys running around without guilds and I can assume a large portion of them are new players.
