Warhammer Battle March

I was wondering if any one has heard anything about this game? Ive liked most of the warhammer games that ive played so far. But most rts games suck on the xbox imo. So i was wondering if you all think this would be worth buying?

    I played Mark of Chaos, which I think is the parent game to this one. It's...meh. I mean, it's okay, but it's fairly mediocre gameplay. If you're a diehard Warhammer fan it might be a good purchase, just don't expect Dawn of War out of it.

    it's a very different type of RTS than dawn of war...there is no base building, it's more true to the way Warhammer really works..where you pick out a selection of soldiers and then take them to the battlefield and fight it out in whatever scenario you are currently on.  The cool thing about the game is that you have a persistant hero that the story follows, and you get to make some choices as to how that hero develops, sort of like heroes in Warcraft 3, but he is persistant between battles, and the skill tree is more in depth than it was in Warcraft 3...much more in depth. 

     

    I think that you'll avoid a lot of the frustration that you feel from normal console RTS games with battle march because there is no base building, there are at most 10 different squads of units that you are commanding at any given time and you never have to worry about managing an economy...I don't think that controls will be your problem, I think that it will just come down to whether or not it's the kind of gameplay that you're looking for.

    For fans of the warhammer table top game.....

    Warhammer: Mark of Chaos + Battlemarch, while visually representing the Warhammer fantasy world very well, the gameplay ruins it. I would say it was disappointing sadly. It have nice graphics, poor manual, a few bugs, lots of missed opportunities. Battlemarch final offer skirmish mode which I favour much as the multiplay server are pretty much dead. Naaj, Brings me back to the great Warhammer game - Dark Omen continue
