Hell ill bite im 24 and i just turned the nice ripe age on the 26th of July, so far in beta the community has been great besides the few idiots who ive seen around with names like "Naruto" and "Gokusss" uhg i guess we cant escape em.. but we sure can kill em.

MY dad is 57 and plays. He always played single person games starting back in the day with games like TUnnel of Doom(DOS) and ever since i got him into DAOC he has been an addict.

It might, although I would think there would be less young teens playing MMORPG's just for the fact you have to pay monthly with a credit card or gaming card, so that involves asking mom and her approval of the whole thing.
I'd say this poll is about as accurate as it can get, though I'd expect more players that are my age. Teenagers and young adults are, by far, the most targetted audience for video games. I'd say that we'd make at least 30% of the MMO market... every other game that isn't an MMO is probably around half of all players being under 18.

@OP: Excuse me if I'm wrong but are you expecting people to say oh look, we are all 12 years old and such which results in making this game with most immature player base ever so this game will sux and will fail therefore people should stay away from it? if so then sorry to inform you, the players average age will probably be same as all other MMO out there since there will always be both younger generation and older generation playing this game and all other games out there.
I'm 28. I am glad to see some of the older crowd in this game though, I hope many of them are the Tabletop Warhammer players, they will bring a unique bloodthirst with them to this game. Worked at a comic book shop for a while, and we sold alot of Warhammer pieces... those players got pretty nuts. I mean they have huge armies all finely handpainted and intricate knowledge of the unit stats etc. Watching them play was entertaining in itself.
