I'm not sure but the shuffling of locations may have been necessary from a level progression stand point.  Beyond that I can't think of any reason why it's necessary to move things around.

In terms of mapping i'd have prefer the guys of Vanguard building it up for mythic; they know how to make a seamless big world, and not a step from one squared zone to another one... that seems to be the boring and well-known dominant system in the slightly poor imaginary of devs today.

I will play WAR, it's good enough and love the IP, but this zone making would annoy everyone that began before WoW, having a sense of liberty and exploring that is not seen in the post-WoW era.

It is a question of fangs.

I pretty much gave up on the lore when they took out the cities and classes announced for the game.

I would say and this is being truthful after experiences with MMOs if you are looking for the same immersion you get and see from the books it will never happen. In every MMO I have played from table top or P&P (DDO anyone) developers are not worried about putting in things you have come to know from the lore (Warforge anyone).

I would say if you are worried about things being 100% correct in the game then that shouldn't have come as a suprise based on Mark Jacobs taking out the classes he did (you ever play tt Warhammer without KoTBS, Black Guards or Choppas, just curious?).
