I hear 2009. Are they thinking late 09 or early 09 or 09, maybe 2010? Because thats a lot of wiggle room. I'm just curious what there rough timeline is if anyone knows.

Well I've heard beta is planned for fall/winter. It won't be out anytime soon though. I am really looking forward to it though its like anarchy online 2 made by a non incompetent company.

Wow, That early? seems a little too early if you ask me. But i SO need to get in the beta
I agree its quite early. My gut feeling is that ER will release in a similar fashion to EVE - with the core systems in place but room for a lot of expansion.
That is how I feel also. They did say somewhere that after release they will start work on the expansion. Infact I am hoping it goes like this. It would be cool if those expansion evolved around how the current game is being played and what not. I am really looking forward to a good long beta test to really get all the bugs out and what not. But we will see in time how it works out. Beta should be announced either next month or in 4 months.
Thanks for the info guys. I'm looking forward to playing too, but early 2009 seems really soon. I'd rather see a pushback than a game that release like Vanguard.

thay announced it will be until the end of the Year, so I think, we will see....

Definately. I have personally never followed an MMO that launched on it's orignal release date.
But who knows - maybe Bulgarian's don't muck around when it comes to deadlines?
why don't they ever just say the game will come out way later then they know it will, so when it is released "early" it is a blessing.
But then you'd have those who would spin it as, "Why did they lie to us in the first place? Why did they keep us in the dark on the actual status of the game? Can't one of these developers be honest for once? Blah blah blah, blah blah!" It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. MMO communities are so cuddly.
And as a few others have said, I fully expect delays but they could certainly prove us wrong. I'm just not banking on that. :P
