It's impossible, you probably dont even have a long enough attention span to read this entire post, let alone last in a fight with a StarWarrior, the biggest toughest ship in the game.
If you don't like having to walk between starship consoles, If you dont like having to search every inch of your 16 deck BattleCruiser for a intruder, If you dont like exploring every dirty, flying snake infested corner of a new planet, If you dont like being a person instead of a starship, this game is not for you.
If you dont like having to rely on the other player at the helm not to crash you into the station your docking with, if you dont like having to rely on the other player who is at the tactical console to blow up that slimy Klinshayan before it gets you, if you dont like playing with a constantly interacting community, this game is not for you.
If you dont like being the first person to pilot a Manning class research vessel through a wormhole to a place unknown, If you dont like that alien race you've never heard of boarding your vessel and forcing you and your player crew into a fight to the death 500 lightyears from Terra, this game is not for you.
If you don't like a game that breaks the standards, does things that not even big names like Lucasarts, or Paramount will try, If you dont like a game that caters to the elite player, If you like a simply easy button clicking, non personified game, this game is not for you.
If you like a game where your suggestion in the forums goes for months before getting attention from from a admin, if it ever does, this game is not for you.

THAT was weird... no i dont like any of thos thinge but i might actually begin in this game if it is any good... you see most games i hear of but dont like most likely resoults in if i try i like it:P
By all means, don't let the first impressions ruin it for you! If I did I wouldn't even be here.
ALOT of people quit because they ran into a few bugs, and the devs are currently more focused on new features if I recall correctly.
well i cant begin today... so well the first impression is the mayor thing if it is good the game itself is most likely bad thats what i have learned
hey,come on in.its a great game,good community.
Though, ships are kinda expensive, but we can help you out.come on in!
i said i was going to test it since it gave me a bad impression once i saw it first... normally if a game gives me good impression before playing it normally ends up sucking (eve is not amongst em) but most other games like archlord or guild wars or aoc or last WOW... these are the games that gav me good impression when i started... guild wars got booring after a week... archlord i played for a day... aoc well that acc is sold... and wow i managed to keep up playing a half year before i accapted the fate that making a strategy game (which is one of the best of all time) into a mmorpg really aint working...
so i though it might be good to try something that gives me bad impression now:P .... i will whait till tomorrow atleast i am tired:)
im far away from terra or else i'd pick you up and show you the ropes.
work out a pickup time ahead of time on the forums so you arnt diddling around on terra trying to get off that lousy rock
ouch... i am really lucky... (computer's fault) i have to re install windows... means i cant do it today either... (i am using my brothers pc for this)
Yeah this game is THE thing , graphic wise ok its not the best but hey i tried million of these coreans games with nice graphics with 3 classes a mage a fighter and a rogue that somehow cast spells and they are all the same giant piece of garbage you get tired of playing after an hour of grinding.
I did a trial in starquest and was on the flying deck for the terran fleet and let me tell ya this game is seriously fhucking freaking deep roleplay and gameplay wise.
The different console gives you a crazy real life like Enterprise feeling to fly its almost as if you were a character in Star Trek , im not a star trek fan but i saw couple of shows , IM a pirate in Eve and an old school UO Pk where people even 11 years later remember me if i log in UO , and im bored , and let me tell ya this game has serious big freaking sandbox potential for even future updates.
Im not a member since i dont have time to play mmorpg till january but this one is the one im gonna subsribe to for sure.
Great to hear you feel that way. Spread the word, spread the word!
sounds gr8:) well i think this game is OK... but it is not good enough for me to start playing seriously yet. because i have a lot of things to do before:) therefore this game will be on my "on hold" list
If you seriously get involved in SQO you wont have much time left for any other MMO So yeah do the things you have to do but certainly check back on this game
Btw, trial got extended to 30 DAYS!
sure... i will have to beta test stargate worlds before i start off incase i get addicted:P
Thats probably a good idea, because if you can last the first free 30 days, there is a 90% chance you will be addicted.
I beta test,, A LOT,, I have free access to tons of games,
Guess which one I end up dumping tons of volunteer hours into, and which one takes up pretty much all of my free time.
StarQuest Online.
well... gr8 that someone understand:) lets see... i think if i am about to really start off this game. then it will be after christmas... because i got alot of stuff to do until then (including beta testing)
Sounds pretty good, (novel marketing approach) however for the meantime EVE owns my soul. Perhaps one day.

Thanks, I came up with it. (Since I'm not a sqo dev, just shows you how much I am addicted. :P )
EVE used to own my soul.
And probably still would if it wasnt for the Developers. Theres nothing wrong with them, they are normal, but the SQO Devs are exceptional. If you make a post in the forums, requesting a reply from them on whatever your topic is, you will have a admin reply usually within 12 hours.
well eve is a part time play game for me:) although i havent paid for this month yet... (no money at ALL) eve is my obsession, secound only to try out stargate worlds:) well, i just wish i could've paid for this month:( but anyway soon stargate beta starts i won't have to be lonelyXD
Here's a quote from one of the SQO Administrators. It gives you a little about the history of StarQuest.
History of StarQuest:
I originally wrote a version of StarQuest back in 1986 for the Commodore 64 computer, this game is the source of most of the "universe" and back story of StarQuest Online. This game was released as "freeware" back in the days long before the internet, and there were at most several hundred copies in existence at any one time. College and a "real" career in software development was the end of StarQuest for quite a number of years, but as a long time pen and paper RPG player, sci-fi buff, and computer game player the SQ universe was never far from my mind.
Beginning in 1998, I began playing Ultima Online, and continued to do so for a couple of years. The MMORPG genre, the internet, and the original 1986 SQ finally came together as the idea for StarQuest Online. Several years later here we are.
well. i want to play it but cant waist time yet:) got school and stargate worlds when i am not doing my homework:) so until i am done with those 2 or one of those 2 i will consider test it more:)
Cool.
I'm just trying to ge this forum active so maybe mmorpg.com will stop overlooking it and keep it updated.
The header is a picture from beta, and the last "update" is 6 months old........
Yeah I wish MMORPG.com would let the Devs change the years old header. I bet a lot of people are scared away just by the look of it
Funny thing is, we even had a header made for them, they have just never bothered to use it...
I'm thinking of starting up the old mass-mailer again and seeing if there are actually people behind mmorpg.com, or if its just a AI. :P
Haha lol, yeah maybe we get through
Also, I started a blog for SQO on here.
StarQuest Online Blog at mmorpg.com
Admins said about 90% of our new players come from mmorpg.com.
We need to get a active presence on here and get noticed.
