Finally made up my mind

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I suppose I'm going to go ahead and try this game out.  I've been hearing a lot of good things from the close beta testers, at least better than what I heard from AoC.

 

I'm getting sick of WoW, and trying to get my PvP fix since UO.

 

SO I just preordered the game thrgouh EAstore, how and when do I get my open beta code?  (if there are still some)

    I was in closed beta and I can say this.  The last game that was this fun was EverQuest 1  when it was first released. EQ was my first MMORPG too.

    You 'should' get it right away. Email them and chase for it I guess.

    If your getting sick of WoW, this may not be the answer for you. This game is incredibly similar to WoW, with only a couple differences. While the game is fun in the beginning because you can level off of scenarios (battlegrounds in WoW), I can't see it holding my attention for very long and I don't see a lot of reason to play this over WoW. Just my opinion.

    Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic
    Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW
    Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike
    Loved: Star Wars Galaxies
    Waiting for: Earthrise, Guild Wars 2, anything sandbox.

    I also pre-ordered from the Eastore, it took like a week or so to get my key, since the preview weekend was close I sent an email asking why I havent received my key and got it within 20 minutes.

    I suggest you send a mail too, hope you get it quick.

    Same here.  The most fun I've had since my MMORPG cherry was broken.

    I just can't into playing anything, even single player games, because I am jonesing for WAR.

    I went to the EA page, but couldn't find anything on emailing for Warhammer.

     

    Where did you email them?

    I can't play or do anything else either due to how thrilled I am about War coming. I sometimes even go to bed early so I'll be a day closer to Warhammer. I really havn't felt this way since Everquest 1. I feel tingles of anticipation and I often break out into yells of , "WAAAAAAAAGHHHH!!!" or "SOON!!! YEAH!!" I don't know what's wrong with me!

    I only played in the Preview Weekend so I can't say I had enough time to see most of the game, but it is the only game that gave me the same type of feeling that EQ did (also my first mmo) when I started leveling.
