Question About Ranks

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Hey everyone,

I was lucky enough to get into open beta, but I still have a question.

It says I have a battle rank 8, but I'm rank 3?  I'm very confused; are there different levels for RvR and PvE or something? 

Can someone please explain?

    So my RvR rank (battle rank I'm assuming?) is 8 and my PvE rank is 3?

    Rank is your level, Renown is your PvP level.

    I don't have the game up right now no I'm not sure what “battle rank” is.
