I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this post has the best title and worded content i've seen in a long time.

Agree or not with the sentiment, I like the cut of your jib son.

See when someone has nothing constructive to say about a game they arent good at or havent put enough time into or dont understand they will complain about almost anything.  FUNCOM has done a great job with Age of Conan sure they didnt have everything at the start but what game has?  I think Age of Conan is going strong and with all the money from selling the game on shelves they can afford to fix everything and make it even better which minus a problem or two it already is.

hahaha, okay... let me get this straight. If you're good enough at the game, and put enough time into it... it no longer crashes? You stop getting out of memory errors and blue screens of death?

    Quality.

No that means you need a better computer same problem happened with EQ2 until people got those AMAZING 256 meg video cards which are $40 now it goes to show AoC was designed to last a LONG time.  So perhaps you arent a long term thinker or a game designer with his career in mind but trust me if you were youd understand how FUNCOM designed the game and youd appreciate it more.

Blue screens?  I retruned in mid august haven't had a single crash since coming back, I'm actually using worse specs than before because my gfx card fried. 6600, to be exact, I'm not saying you're lying. However, I've never heard a single other person claim they are getting blue screens of death from the game. I have to wonder if this is your pc or AOC causing this.

I was going to ask for PC specs, but i really dont think the OP cares, or wants help...just a rant.

Actually most of the time it is viruses and sometimes things shut down because of them and people blame the programs they use like Age of Conan.  That is why viruses are bad the dev team probably tries to find their specific problem and then find out it is just a virus they must get really annoyed by that.

Well a few people stuck with it staring in the eyes of adversity , going down the road of disallusion. I quit the game before my first free month had expired just about a month after the release date. Yeah i know some people stayed waiting for that magic "patch" to occur and to sort everything out.. which maybe it coulda . But due to the shite customer support that io had at the time from Funcom and the same   "technical problems" that seem to occur at the time on virtually every OS and hardware set up at that time, my love for conan died .  Shame it took a lot of people longer to see the light ... lets see if  WAR helps :D

You realize WAR was released by EA which ruin every game they touch right get ready for an expansion pack every 3 months and oh ya buying items in the game for 20 dollars a piece.  Wow that sounds like fun not perhaps you should see the light and played more and you would have realized what a good game Age of Conan is.

So the OP played the finished game for a few months and you come up with lame excuses why he doesnt like it which you counter with LTP. Then you jump on WAR with nothing but stories from the past?

    Well played sir.

ILOVEFUNCOM the fact you registered yesterday, have 34 posts, not to mention your name, I’m pretty sure its safe to say you’re a FUncom employee hyping up and defending your company’s game against everybody who says ill about it. I have had a look at all your previous posts and i am pretty darn certain i'm correct. Piss off from these forums you should be ashamed of yourself.

The game uses roughly 35% of my GPU's AT MAX - like that is the highest I have EVER seen it..... so its my hardware.... do you work for Funcom?

This can be no other than PROTUS-AOC. These posts ooze with all the fore-thought and puncuation of someone known as protus-aoc.

I actually built a pretty decent system to run AOC on and it never used more than 35% of my GPU's. Sorry next.....

Last time I checked Funcoms forum guys, while closing posts faster than a duck on a junebug, could form coherent sentences.

Yeah... i don't see how AoC is the blame for your computers faults. . .

Don't mind the fanboys here. They will automatically assume its your pc fault. And the guy telling you that someone forgot to read the side of the box. I am just assuming he didn't read the box properly himself, because if he did he would have returned the game after realizing the amount of bullshit and lies printed on it. So who is the biggest idiot here?

    -1 point for punctuation

-1 point for lack of coherent thought arrangement

-1 for utterly making stuff up and posting it

This is truly like a cut scene from whats going through your brain isnt it? I mean think about what you are going to say and please post it in some coherent form.

Try not to get so emotional when you are typing that you forget the periods.  They really help make a post legible.

Well said, well spoken BG. I think that people are very quick to develop a blind loyalty to whatever game they happen to be playing at the moment.  But if this guy 'ILOVEFUNCOM' is protus-aoc, he would be defending FUNCOM on tuesday in like 400 posts, then wednesday would roll around and he would be on the forums bashing FUNCOM.. Worse than a hater or a FNABOI is a flip flopper.... cause really who can respect that?

I must disagree; I think this means that FC lied about the minimum requirement to run this program so they can sell it to people that can’t actually use this game. And also, it is a shame FC is using their time and money sending people in to hype about the game instead of fixing it.

edit: I thought I was quoting the guy, I guess I clicked the wrong button :P

How can you say that "most" of the people having problems running AoC all have viruses on their computer? That has got to be the stupidest thing I have read on these forums in a long time, and believe me, these forums have more than their fair share of stupid comments. IMO, the only thing that all these people seem to have in common is that they have AoC loaded on their computer so in a sense I guess you would be correct in saying that the actual virus affecting gameplay is the AoC program itself. The best fix for that particular virus is to delete the entire program.
