Beta sweepstakes... 100 or 500??

in Stargate Worlds

the sweepstakes that MMO is hosting says in the info

"we will be accepting entries into a random drawing where we will give away 500 beta access slots for Stargate Worlds"..

 

 now that the draw is done though.. they have posted under that..

"We will be selecting all 100 winning tickets and contacting each one by e-mail as well as MMORPG.COM private mail"

 

 So which is it? 100 keys or 500?  Aswell, Congrats to all that won.

    i did not count them but it sure looked like a lot of people. BTW i think its rigged i logged in everyday with a max of 4 tickets, yet i dont believe it greatly increased my channces of winning! 17k+ peeps singed up for the contest, they gave away 500 keys. So there was a 1 and 35 chance of winning right? I should just give up on these! I am a loser!

    Well, I didn't count the winners, but I did win a slot. It <seemed> like a hundred winners just at a glance. I do know that there seemed to be some other contest for some other game, that apparently had 500 winners that I guess is where the mix up is coming in. Someone who actually feels like counting winners, want to confirm?

    Bah! the list do not show 500 names , i have not counted it but on a glimpse it seems just about 100. Sorry friend but i guess i haven't also got through.

    believe it or not, this is the first game in a long time i am actually anxiously awaiting the possibility to find the beta bugs.

    This is the first one in a while to actually merge the best of "fantasy" and sci fi- based on one of my current favorite shows (not a big fan of atlantis, but i am of sg1)

    based on what i have seen in the movies (wargames) and all the videos put out, this looks to be very interesting!

     

    now to just sit and wait for my email....

    I just hope the beta starts up soon. I always hate it when you get a key for a beta and then have to wait a few weeks before it even starts up. The suspence is already killing me :(

    What sucks is that This beta was the only one ive ever wanted to be in on because I LOVE the Stargate series. The pure fact that I didnt pi$$ed me off heavily. God hates me and loves to see me suffer. SGW was pretty much the ONLY game that I thought worthy enough to get me away from the hellspawn-addiction that is EVE-Online. With that, I bid MMORPG a farewell,

    well one thing is for certain, the 100 of us that are getting in, are going to be extremely excited. Anyone thought of what class they were going to try first?

    I wouldnt be too quick to go, you never know if someone doesn't confirm within 24hrs your name may come up, and wouldn't that be a kick in the bag...

    EVE Online is not a hellspawn game, EVE is a freaking great game, yes it is a little addicting, but isn't all good MMORPG's?

    Dunno about first..... will prob give them all a try as any good beta tester would.  See which ones I can break.  With DDO and AOC Beta I did them in the order they were offered.  This time I will do the reverse order just for a change

    First one to find a fault that takes down  a server wins  

    I managed to break a server in DDO when running in and out of a teleporter many times duplicated my toon.  I run out of the portal only to see me stood in front of me in a frozen running position, clicking on it revealed it to be erm . . . .  me.   Seconds later server reboots.  

    I love beta testing.   Surreal times ahead.

        

     

    I used to visit this site a lot however in recent years it has become the home of negative forum posts, illogical opinions and tantrums so I visit less often.

    It is better than winning and then never recieving what ya won. That has happened to me here before.
