first impressions

Ok currently i am lvl 25 so i wouldnt call this a review, altho it took a while to get to this lvl..

first off this game uses both WASD and point-n-click, however the point-n-click doesnt seem to work 100% right. some attacks from mobs make your character stop running, also u have to click multiple on a position to change directions while running

secondly i heard a lot of stories about this game being hack infested.. i do see some ppl running the same router over and over again, they prolly set themselves up and bot till they die, then they auto run back to the grindspot. this is effective to them cause... this game has NO deathpenalty (in pvp and pve) and thats just a goldmine to botters. the goldspam aint bad tho, they get banned fast enough.

theres one server, with 2 subservers (shards) and the shard i play on is quite unstable, ping jumps a lot and my connection aint bad. however i had no crashes/dc at all. the population is alright btw

just a quick note on customer support.. its very good actually i sent 2 mails and got replies after a few hours.

now something about the game itself :P it is a real grinder, there are dungeons that are quite harder then outdoor hunting but they do give more xp. there are 6 professions, and u have 4 abilties to put points in, next to that there is a skill tree for each profession, u get one skill point per lvl. everything is working fine, and the skills are pretty neat. graphics are ok, sound aint special so put your itunes on

like in the NA version (2moons) this game has a few safe zones where u can lvl in till about lvl 30.. then the pk zones come up. i have been pked twice so far, since there aint a deathpenalty you just lose some time on walking back to your grindspot.

there are quests, but they are "kill X amount of mobs" so its just grinding with a xp/item/gold reward attached to it, there aint many quests and well.. they aint a worthy addition. the xp reward is quite big tho.

well i guess those were my impressions so far... ill update it later on.

EDIT: aw yes.. the community. seems like your standard korean mmo community. however i havent been in a guild so cant really go any further into that right now

ow and the camera sometimes gets messed up in dungeons, like when u go around a corner a wall pops up that takes up the whole screen for a moment.. annoying but doesnt happen a lot

alright, heres some updated impressions, currently lvl 41 segnale (the healer class) and im still enjoying the game tho not playing it a lot lately...

first off... where i said in my first post that quests werent really worth doing ive stumbled across a few quests that do give very neat rewards like defense necklaces and the best of all, copper argates (nice money, used to upgrade weapons)

2ndly.. goldspam seems to either have been increased or there are less GMs taking care of it, i also stumbled across a dungeon (an instance) where at the entrace of it there is an army of bots doing runs over and over and over again.. they cant be pked cause the pvp shields dont let them die before they reach the entrace of the dungeons

3rd point, i noticed that the itemmall doesnt unbalance the game :O highest xp booster is +20%, there are some boosters to increase refining rates and that stuff, some special costumes (looks only) and mounts, also they are selling potions but u can get those ingame too (altho thats quite hard) and thats it really, plus the items arent that expensive. this is a big plus for me

besides that my ping has become more stable lately, also there have been some nice bugfixes.

the Gms launched a big attack on goldspammers and bots, hooray!

and the community is hard to come in touch with but once uve achieved that u will notice that theres a lot of very nice people playing it.

verdict: i recommend this game to try out if u like fastpaced combat and an item mall that doesnt unbalance the game for the free users.

what do you mean with "fast paced combat"?

is it like, let's say, Risk Your Life where each click is an attack or is it like the standard mmorpg where you click the mob and your char begins autoattacking, maybe just more rapidly?
