I feel there is no new influx of players and T1 zones are getting empty on my server.
Is it a fail?

Yes the server population on my server is not increasing.
Because its FULL!!!!
So other new players are rolling on other servers.
Also yes the T1 area is becoming less and less populated because supprisingly players are advancing and moving on to T2 and beyond.
The mind boggles.
So im to understand by your post , If the starter area`s become empty the game fails?
I know it's hard to look beyond their own little world for a lot of people but are *all* the servers at full according to you?

Well after trying some classes and decide, ppl will stick with one class and advance to next tier imo.
He that lives upon Hope dies farting.
Server I was on was low pop order yet you go to the T1 zones and it's completely dead, which isen't a good sign considering how new the game is.

Well then you fully realize that your opinion on the topic is completely useless now don't you?

Ah, someone got the point.
The game has been out for 1 week and low lvls are getting scarce, and it means WAR only got MMORPGs veteran and nothing else who came to try out the game.
And the buzz on WAR is not exactly "omgz its brilliant" in the press, rather "could be, needs time, and population".
I remember a MMORPG who came out dec 2004 in US and february 2005 in Europe, low lvls were packed for 6 months after release. Diminution of low lvls = bad sign.

Oh right so the server i play on is irellivant to WAR.
After all according to what your saying any data reported from my server should not be counted?
I didnt realise my server was excluded from the post!
Time for school is it
Nah, I'm simply saying your server isn't exactly representative for the problem and actually is a server where the problem will be undetectable since it's FULL So yes mentioning it is rather pointless where the threads topic is concerned
Some of the shards look a bit thin on the ground but its hard to say for sure without logging into them all. Most I looked at the other day when I was choosing a new home looked to be med -Order and Med/High-Dest.
Not sure you can make a balanced view without playing on every single shard out there tbh.
If you ask a community supposedly playing on a variety of server, you will get the big picture.

rolled a new char on one of the kharak eu servers last night, dark elf. Starter area was plenty busy to get all pq's etc. cleared with no drama.
Scenario took forever to start, but that may be that it was getting late and folks appeared to be concentrating more on the pq's
I can see what the op is saying, I wondered it myself last night, if the t1 areas are quiet, people new to the game may struggle to get the more group oriented stuff done, but it seems to me that there are plenty of folks around, and altaholics will always be aroud too.
Infact it is very relevant because it shows that the OP`s server may well not be there norm.
There for gather information for every server , IE ever ones views you can make an assumption.
So you would rather base the opinion the game is failing and servers are stagnant because he chooses one server he claims to be stagnant?
Hardly a balanced claim is it.

if you still didnt saw that this game will die due population problems.. etc servers which hold like 1-2k now.. some say its 500v500 some say its 1000v1000.. we all can say its not more..
and yes no population = fail. this game is all about a lot of players.
so hes right to say game is failing.. as it is for him .. you can keep blind eye..
i like game. and i enjoy it.. but i keep seeing population problem for ages..

I agree with you on that first statement. It can be used to show that it isn't the norm. However, it should be easy to gouge right? How many servers are full/full? And are they that way all day or only during prime time?
Because that's could be a *lot* of time that your situation does not hold true
(mind you *I* am not claiming failure here or anything, just stating that your situation is not incredibly useful to the argument)

Piffle & Bladerdash. Sorry but there are a couple of people in this thread that claim this game is failing
Someone mentioned that because every server is not full/full then it's all over? So if they had launched with 2 servers it would be an unrivalled sucess? To be fair, this has happened in every MMO launch that I can recall over the last few years. No not the failing, but rather nutjobs that come on here 1 week after launch and tell everyone else that............THE GAME HAS FAILED
Let me see. The only 2 high level MMORPG failures, as in total failure---shut down, that I can recall at this minute are "Earth & Beyond" and "Auto Assault".
I play Destro on my server and it's listed as full with average wait time 150 people / 10 minutes.
As a consequence the player level spike/huddle is at around level 16-20 right now putting them firmly in Teir 2. It's not stagnation, the players have moved on and new players are being discouraged.
So yes T1 scenarios are slow in starting and in the longer term - all teirs apart from T4 will probably have issues.
I don't know what the solution will be 3 years from now when there's almost no noobs yet we need T1, 2, 3 & 4 conquered to hit the enemy capital. I'll let Mythic figure that one out it's what they get paid for.
I just hope it doesn't end up with every guild having to keep X amount of alts in a certain level range as that's pretty dull.

You can walk the walk but can you talk the talk?
They recently added new servers and put up transfers from the overly flooded servers to these. This should improve the server queues for now, so I wouldn't worry about it. While there's still a lot of High and Full pop servers, I'm sure they'll continue monitor the populations carefully and add additional servers when more servers begin to show High and Full pop. I must admit I didn't think the servers would fill up anywhere near this quickly.
Misconception, there's no such requirement.
Wow, seems we have more trolling by a few people that obviously never played WAR, yet are commenting on its demise based on... opinion? Last night, as I scanned the servers as I usually do, there was not one server that was below med-high (as in one side medium, the other high, and it only seemed to be on maybe 2-3 servers, rest were high-high with many full. I'll be sure to take a picture of the server screen to put the trolls' minds to rest). I was playing around with my DoK alt last night (only rank 7) and had no problem completing many scenarios, and a few PQS in the DE starting area, which is usually one of the more unpopulated starting areas.
What the origional poster is asking, atleast I think what hes asking, is do you see design flaws in this game that will cause stagnation in the long run.
Just like how I did from Final Fantasy due to its poorly concieved crafting systems and strict party based leveling.
The question is, will their Zone set up and RvR focused leveling be in hot water if a lot of people wind up at max level fast and not many people are re-rollling or leveling slow enough to keep up with the way the game works.
For instance, in FFXI and in WoW and in DAOC after a year a VAST MAJORITY of the player base online at any given time was players at max level.
Will this make warhammer not work as intended if it winds up the same?
Thats the question i believe.
And how many server have order side full? No one said your server is irelivant, stop trolling please.
I like war but you are an avid fanboy sir! /bow
To answer the OP, no not at all. I ve made chars on MANY servers to see if theres one i really want to make Order on and been considering a new home for my Desto. That being said obviously i remake them all at lvl 1 and play some levels to see. Not once was there a dead starter area, or an issue with PQs/RVR. To answer the needing tier 1-3 to attackacity, this was stated awhile ago that 1-3 will help your realm as in buffs, gold drop, xp etc, but tier 4 will ultimately be the only factor in attacking a city. Many people in beta mentioned as your servers get fuller of higher end players this will become an issue, so they changed it.
I don't think it's Desto that got this problem its the order side thats stagnating try make an order toon on some of the low to med pop realms T1s like a ghost town on many of them.
