GM Ticket question

Ok, so just for a little bit of backround before I start. My head start ended on monday, and I received my game on tuesday (yesterday) which was perfect timing. So after I activated my retail key I went to log into the game and my character was magically lvl 1 again.

I submitted a GM ticket for this last night, and what I am wondering is this; Do I have to be logged in to get them to fix this problem? I ask because I have extremely limited play time due to RL obligations, and I'd really like to not have to re level my guy.

Also, if anyone can give me a general amount of time it takes for a response from a GM ticket that'd be nice too.

    Sounds like a database error, so they wouldn't be able to fix it if you were logged in :) Also, if you're offline when they get to your ticket, they'll mark your account and someone will contact you when you are logged in.

    As for waiting time, I've found it takes about an hour to get a response when I report goldseller spam.

    No worries mate.

    If you are left waiting for some reason, you might want to start a thread over at WHA.

    A lot of people have been contacted directly by Mythic support because of posted troubles there, myself included.

    I actually registered at WHA, but they never sent my registration email so I said screw it.
