Its a Wow Clone

You like reading it? Seeing it? Hearing it? It seems that every New Game that comes out, its a Wow Clone.Its like a Branded logo that was hot iron onto a  new game even before its release or after.by the Wow craze..But yet why are the Wow craze looking for a new game anyways, if Wow is so great?I don't know about anyone else but im tired of seeing it, hearing it and reading it..It makes it to the point i want to see the WOW game die.

I too am tired of seeing WoW clone everywhere.  Did they ever think that WoW was a clone of another game?

Are you bitching that almost every game that has come since 2005 has been a WoW clone?

Or are you bitching that they are beling labeled WoW clone?

people say its a clone of EQ and EQ 2 and mostly people dont like to call games eq clones. WoW clone is easier and makes a more negative impact than calling it EQ clone which means theme park linear Mcdonalds of a mmo like wow.

They are being labeled. not since 2005 either.But recently.But not to-be ignorant where have you been?More and more people talk about nothing but WoW Clone or WoW Copy .

The OP as well as many others and myself are tired of seeing the "<game name> is just a WoW clone" threads created by WoW players for games that sometimes haven't even been released yet. Funny thing is that i was reading the Star Trek Online official forums a while back and guess what..  i saw a thread labeled "STO is just a space clone of WoW"..  People have posted numerous arguments about Darkfall in particular with comments such as "Your gonna be disappointed, it's just another WoW clone" yet again this is funny as they try to provide so called proof of potentialy new games being WoW clones when they obviously haven't read anything about the games in question.. It's like they are trying to hype up and defend a game that can last on it's own merits without this sort of thing, this kind of thing from the WoW players just creates a bad reputation for the whole WoW community and i know some friends who enjoy the game without mouthing off about it, they in turn know others that don't do this kind of thing, shame is that these people are not interested in forums, they play the game for the game and leave the bad apples to post in forums giving forum readers a bad impression. I personaly don't like WoW after doing the trial for it but thats just me and not everyone likes the same thing.

@ WoW player who falls into the above catagory : Flame away all you like, call every MMO to come out a WoW clone all you like, your only making yourself out to be stupid to thousands of people. WoW itself can be classed as a clone by your definitions...  Warcraft (original ideas) were not that original to start with, Goblins, Orcs and other such stuff were in fables long before Warcraft was thought of. WoW's gameplay was not original either, it is just a "polished" version of other games content.
