You dont have too, its optional, it just makes things alot easier for you later on in the game, im very sure there are lots of minors(kids) who does not have paypal or credit card to be wasting, its F2P Micro fees are "OPTIONAL" explain(Maple Story, Gunbound, Raikon, Luina) all optional to use Micro fees(aka cash shop etc) for your advantage in the game
Since your character ages every week you gain bonus AP until I believe age 25 then you only gain levels as normal. Depending on what age you start at (10 is the youngest) you can age pretty quickly. The average for Re-Birthing is 6 weeks for most if you go by age or Level 30 or 40 by level. the character cards are basic which is similar to the free card you get(You only get One Free Card)
and the premium which gives you loads more customization options. Both cards can be used to either re-birth or new characters. Mabinogi allows to have up to 20 charcters. some Hardcore players do this.
I have spent about $60 in NX cash I have 3 Pets....

I have two Characters I recently Re-birth my main one since It aged To about 70 years old and was still a low level so i got no benefits and it was redundant to kep playing with such an old character.
OP----One of benfits is that NX Cash can be used for All nexon games (MAPLESTORY, AUDITION ONLINE, COMBAT ARMS and SUGAR RUSH(NEW)) so even if you drop Mabinogi you can try the others and the NX cash may not go to waste.
yeah thats true, i was hook on maple story and Kart but im kinda move away from them now, i think mabinogi is quite fun and different im also waiting for "blade and soul(project M)" and I'll probably give GW2 a try when it comes
