I thought it would be interesting to find out what peoples' fall back game is. You know, the one that you go back to after trying other games out there and hoping they would be better

Eve Online
Considering you could train offline it's the perfect second MMO and when new MMOs fail it keeps me busy.
Playing: Nothing
Looking forward to: Nothing
NONE ! I don't play one now. There is none that merits my time.
Personally? EVE Online.... while I keep hoping for something better to come out every title promises the sun, mooon and stars... then after I try them out and find them lacking I always wind up going back to EVE. Nothing even comes close anymore...
Shame really... before EVE my fallback was SWG... till they changed it.

Sadly this is the truth. However I am waiting for Aion, and if that fails well, I dont see any MMO on the radar that I want to play.
Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
Now Playing: N/A
Worst MMO: FFXIV
Favorite MMO: FFXI
Nothing, haven't had a mmo subscription for 6 months.
If Darkfall fails to deliver I will have another long wait.
I play single player games in to meantime, mostly RTS.
Hmmm, not sure if WAR merits a place on this list considering it just released.
At any rate, mine is LOTRO simply because I have some friends in a guild there and it is nice to jump in and touch base.
Won't be doing that anymore.

Well at the moment I fall back on well made single player games some with multiplayer. I have no mmo to fall back on at the moment, swg was until 18 months ago but it keeps getting worse and the latest greatest mmos just seem to be awful linear fantasy clones. I hope next years new releases try to break the mould.
Used to be EQ2, but after 4+ years I got tired. I am alas stuck in WAR without any fallback MMO left, since the good ones I overplayed in years and there are no good ones for me left.
Eve. I don't play it too terribly much, but it's got that long term complexity that no other mmo on the market has. I've played it for well over two years now on the sidelines, and probably have well over two years left to reach the level of training I desire. I've played a few mmos pretty heavily, and when you compare my time spent in eve to my time spent in wow, wow wins by a landslide. But compare how much money I've payed for wow and eve, and eve wins by a landslide. Crazy, but true...
Shadowbane. Its free and there is always fun pvp
Won't be doing that anymore.
HAHA! I usually stay subed to eve since I played weekly.
I was never a big fan of ghost training.
I actually thought it was a bone head move on CCPs part since it could be exploited by using a ton of alts.

Well for me at the moment there isn't a MMORGP that I could consider my fall back game.
I do however play allot of other type of games, RPG/FPS/RTS.
Currently back (due to the enhanced edition) to The Witcher, didn't really like it when I bought it when the game was released, but it seems to be improved in a way I enjoy now. Still have plenty of playtime at Crysis Warhead/Wars, occasionally Cod4/UT3/ETQW Multiplayer as I have finished them in single player campaigns, maybe ones ever 1/2 month a group of my friends get together online for some C&C/KW.

City of Heroes.
CoX for me..
It's currently the only MMO that has enough character options & powersets to keep me coming back. While not a master in any catagory it offers a bit of everything. it also allows adjustable difficulty for when U feel like pushing your limits. Not to mention I've a soft spot for super heroes.
Until an MMO arrives that's superior in every aspect that matters to me I'm staying put.

Yay for another poll that doesn't list near enough games!

Don't have one. I spend all the time I have on other random stuff...
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
eve and nethack.
The market flows even if i'm not logged in, wallet fattens..
And nethack...well, i really need to finally beat that damn game. After 5 years of playing it's about time.
EQII. I feel that EQII is the last of the true MMORGP's.
