MMORPG Where Assassins REALLY rock?

Ye, That's kinda what i'm looking for...A game where assasins rock 
Technically i mean assassin as something that wears light armor, moves quickly and does light but fast damage.
The game must have movement freedom (WASD movement and Jumping)
Tell me if you know any

Try posting in the LFGame forum next time or else it gets lost in the clutter of general posts. As for a game with assassins that rock... well I will suggest some games with the class, but you will have to decide if they rock or not. The games that have them are:
Age of Conan - AoC wiki on assassin class (P2P game)
Guild Wars - GW wiki on assassin class (Buy game no subscription)
Metin 2 - Guide on their different builds (F2P)
I'm sure there's more, but I'll stop there.

Lol, should i try DAOC for "assassins", They seemd to be pretty nice ...?
All depends if you want a lot of people to play with or not. DAoC is seven years old so the best way to ask about their population would be on their official forums.

Well Daoc looks still kinda heavy-metal to be 7 years old game
UO Is ...(How many years was it lol? ) And still pwnz every MMO around here
But ay..This time i want some 3d assassin
DAOC has a good set of assasins.
Shadowbane if you can stomach the old school graphics has a great thief.
AoC is a good one, Ranger, Barbarian, and Assasin are all good.
EQ2 has some good ones too, Swashbuckler, etc are great.
There are quite a few options, just depends on if your wanting pve or pvp and what type of game.
How is EQ2? You can jump and everything?
Give DAOC a try...
BUT... you'll have a lot of job to catch up with the current player base...
You'll get pwnd often, again and again vs high RR in there fully geared.
Perhaps wait until Origin comes out! (New server, new players, no high RR)
OR you could just try the trial and play in the BG for level 20-24. You'll have a nice idea of how the game works and if you like it.
Ye actually Daoc Impressed me and been dowlonading it for a while
But This is just Temporary, Darkfall is the game for me, Just doin' something while waiting beta

Origin is supposed to be the old server maps and all. Personnaly I've never player thoses maps... but many old players were just crying at mythic to get it back... so it must be good lol...
Origins is a new classic server with no expansions on it, lot of us been wanting it for a while. It was supposed to release last august, but was delayed till "After War launch" we may never see it....
As for darkfall... you might never see it either.

I played mine a bit (I'm a sorceress first, but when I'm bored of BW (lol) I go play my WE) and I had a BLAST
Before level10 it's kinda boring a bit... but when you earn the "stealth" it's fun as hell!

How about a class where you stealth, do additional damage from behind, can dual-wield daggers and other one-handers, start group cooperative moves causing massive damage, and debuff the enemy while you do it? Then I recommend LotRO and being a Hobbit Burglar. Laugh if you will, but my hobbit Burglar is a "badass."

Dont get me wrong Im extremely excited about darkfall... but for someone who has been eagerly awaiting beta for...I dunno...6 years, Im a bit sceptical.
This will be the second or third major push for beta we have seen, now granted the language they are using now is a lot stronger than previous supposed betas, but after 7 years Im extremely skeptical, especially since most of the beta leak sites have nothing on them at all.
DF is the first game EVER to not have any beta leaks... I find that rather suspect is all.

I would agree with those who said EQ2, you got plenty of content all thru the levels and the assassins are quite good, not the greatest video, but this might give you a feel for it

Well, rare opportunity, but WoW is a pretty good choice there.
A well specced rogue - especially in PvP - rocks pretty hard, especially when it comes to burst damage. Plus theres hardly any game that features a more powerful stealth (virtually invisibility with incredible unstealth-damage)

At one pont in time the assassins used to be a fun class in DAoC. Now, assassins are pretty much worthless.
My favorite assassin class is from EQ2. You can pick brigand, swashbuckler, or assassin. All 3 are very good damage dealers, use stealth, positional attacks, and poisons.
WoW rogues are OK. Not the best, and not the worst, imo.
What you are looking for is the Rogue class in WoW, they kill even Warlocks with ease in PvP.
The Assassin class in AoC must be one of the worst DPS classes in any game.
They have low defence and doesn't do that much damage either.
