The question posed is as easy as answering as me asking if I like red. It's very much a personal opinion, and without you providing more information answering it is quite impossible.
No, I play on one of the largest servers (skull throne) and it's dead. A /who command showed 14 ppl in my tier at prime time! Scenarios take 1/2 hour to pop. PQ's are deserted. IMO war is on it's way out without big changes and definitely server merges.
I have chars on all tiers and they're all 1/4 of the population they were a few weeks ago. People are leaving fast.
well when i played the chat was dead did they6 add a world channel or even a ooc ?
They added a /1 (regional chat) and /2 (rvr chat -in each rvr lake). But if you start now, you will notice T1 and T2 with much much much less people around. Most people are in T3 and reaching T4 now. At least, in Pheonix Throne and Ostermark.
Since you ask "resubbing" I can only assume you left, because the game did not do enough of <<whatever>> for you to stick around. Without knowing what you did not like about the game I can only speculate an answer.
If your old server is one of the servers involved in the free transfers then maybe yes it is worth trying again assuming population was your only concern. If your server was a destination server I would ask on WHA forums how the populations are after the new transfers came over. If your old server was one that allowed transfers off, then you may want to see if you can still move characters to other servers. I don't think there is a time limit for the free transfers off, but don't take my word for it.
Otherwise, if you left for any other reason I would have to say no. Nothing else has changed yet and you are better off waiting a few weeks/month until the big patches hit to see what changes. I don't even think the details of patch 1.1 are known yet, but the promises listed are rather large. Patch 1.05 just had the majority of its changes pushed back to 1.06. Resubbing now will most likely just end up reinforcing the reasons you already left. Resubbing after 1.1 patch should be a much different game, but I tend to not believe hype of developers when they make huge patch promises and just wait and see what they are able to deliver.
People are leaving fast because they expect too much quite honestly.
Rather than giving not just WAR but any MMORPG a chance a they assume it will be failure if there are flaws in some areas of the game within a few weeks or a month of a release. They compare new MMORPGs to highly established Developers which have already established a worldwide fanbase and have years of experience in online gaming, which is unfair in my opinion.
-----
I think to really get a sense of community and RvR you will have to join a active guild. Most guilds in WAR only require a certain level requirement, Ventrilo, and do not require hardcore players. If you go solo you will become bored from the lack of RvR, PQ groups, or the same old scenario most of the time.
-----
Are you willing to be patient and ignore the faults WAR has atm and just play or are you willing to join a guild to get the most out of your experience? If you answered no to both then you should not resub.
WAR like any other MMOs have its pros and cons. It is basically its up to you if you want ot stick out and play the game.
For example, When EQ-2 came out it was a pretty crappy game, but to be honest IMO it got better and better with each expansion. Todays EQ-2 is very solid PvE game.
So come and join again. BTW my guild plays on Volkmar and we always looking for good order players. With the release of BG and KotBS it is great opportunity to re-roll and join a good guild

agree, I regret transfering, it got worse *shrugs*
I still have 30 days on my account atm I would re-sub because atm it's the best game I have to play but hell when aion comes out , and if it's a good game, they better give me something more appealing to re-sub because I might not stay a client for a long time

Since the primary "endgame" action is T4 RvR it naturally takes time for sufficient numbers of players to reach 40 and fill the RvR areas. On my server there are large fights in every captureable RvR area every night, and that's just with 9% of the server at T4 level.
I was in a guild that had a bunch of "hardcore" players who leveled like crazy to get to T4 only to sit there for weeks on end waiting for the rest of the players to catch up. What happened? They eventually left. They got bored cause there was "nothing to do", but IMO had only themselves and their over-zealous leveling efforts to blame.
The fact is that RvR IS fun. It just takes patience to allow the game to mature and the players/community to reach the tipping point where the people start pouring into the RvR lakes.
This has happened on my server where I'm now even seeing people leveling alts in other Tiers so that they push those Tiers over to Order side, thus making it more possible to flip the T4 areas. I think that bodes very well for the future. The problem with the early quitters wasn't so much the game as the unrealistic, even illogical, expectations and a simple lack of patience.
Resubscribe? Your choice. But if you like the RvR concept, I'd say yes.
If you're looking for lively chat, join a guild. If you're looking for constant general chat spam/diarreah, I hear WoW just released a new expansion...
While I disagree with most of what you are saying about why people left Spamalot, there is wisdom in your words. T4 is where the game is at and eventually that is where the masses will bulk up for long nights of fighting.
However, that is also a problem. As everyone gets to T4 and lives there, the other 3 tiers empty out which is not good for the long term health of the game. Empty zones make a miserable experience for new players and a game that cannot attract new players [especially one so dependant on a healthy population] is in trouble.
Some of Mythics design choices are idiotic by nature, such as the "chicken" effect whic effectively sunsets the majority of the games content and isolates players. On the flip side they were brilliant in their choice to allow people to "buff" up to a somewhat competitive level in PvP lakes. Why they didn't just apply this logic in reverse to higher level players going down in tiers is rather silly. Just as an example.

Im going to have to call BS on that one.
Just rerolled on Skull Throne (its usualy always med/med) Scenarios pop up all the time, on slow days you have to wait till the current scenario ends (15min wait). Plus the scenario maps actualy rotate instead of playing the same one over and over.
PQs are usualy active, but in most areas theres usualy 1 or 2 pqs that are worth doing. If a Warband is doing em then all three will be active sooner or later.
RvR is slow like in most servers. But in a few months the devs will fix most of WARs problems.
The pains of buying a mmorpg on release.
To the OP, if you have to ask then wait a few more months.
Never ever sub for a new MMOG unless you have nothing else to play or its one of those games that just clicks with you.

Damn straight it is.
In my humble opinion
My brand new bloggity blog.
no, game burns out quick after a week you will get bored...again.
March on! - Lets Invade Pekopon
If you enjoy it yes, if you don't then no, if your on the fence might as well unless you have another game that you find more fun.
Asking here isn't the best way to come to the decision lol.
Enjoy : )
