Hmm... some folks remarry their spouses after a bitter divorce, sometimes two or three times.

Never could figure those people out.

I'm glad you've found a game you enjoy.  I hope you continue to enjoy the game but if not I hope you find something you do enjoy.

As long as you are enjoying the game, that is all that matters.

Well you being a troll and all who would have guessed you'd show up on this thread bashing yet another person for liking the game.

Yes, I've seen that too. Many people here who praise the game are from Norway. Is it because norwegian people like this kind of game or what is the reason?

Doesn't matter where he is from really does it? then again your the 16th person to join and post with a negative outlook on AoC from Helsinki, Finland with in the last month, hmmm. National pride comes into it at some degree and I think that is what Elsa might of being getting at.

Lol, you are keeping track of where people come from? You have screenshots of this? Man, that is creepy. Good thing I didn't put any more personal information. You never know what kind of crazies and serial killers lurk these forums.

Well, MMO's are popular in Finland and Helsinki is our biggest city so if finnish people join these forums, they are most likely from Finland. Sorry, no huge conspiracy here

Yes, you are right. National pride probably has a lot to do with it. I mean many of these "fanbois" are from Oslo, Norway, right next to FC headquarters. It can't be a coincidence.

I hope some finnish devs would do an MMO so you would see even more of us finnish people on forums

Glad you like it. I am quite sure Performance shocked you? Early launch AoC and AoC now are two different beasts performancewise.

Dont think so.....seems AoC has yet again hit an all time low with xfire( just like funcom stock)...last week it was hovering around 1k xfire players playing per day. Now its less the 900. And all you AoC fanboys dont even wanna talk about the hours played per day.....its almost at 50% of what it was 3 months ago. AoC is doomed.

Actually, I recently resubbed to this along with two of my friends (playing it alongside WAR), and I'm having a good time. I'm not in Norway, though... Hate to burst your racist bubble. (Idiots.)

I don't think it's racist to say people in Norway are more likely to support AOC  ,it's conjecture but it does have some logic as  Funcom is based in Norway and people should be patriotic towards it for reasons of national pride and "home grown is good " etc etc

I live in South Africa and if an MMO was released I would play it due to it  being South African and also if it was a bad game I wouldn't publicly denounce it or I would defend it ?I think that's normal

Then I can conclusively state that you and I are fundamentally different in that regard. I play a game based on the amount of enjoyment that I derive from it rather than the location of its development...

You would actually play a game that you don't like because it is made in the country you live?

If Norweigans generally more like AoC, I would bet the reason generally would be that Conan books, movies and comics are extremly popular in Norway, that is surely on of the reason FC made the game.

No, your idea is surely just because there isn't any good games from SA, 1 week of a really bad game would kill that theory.

No I didn't say I would play a game developed in my country if I didn't like it .I said I would try it but if I didn't like it I wouldn't run it down on international forums .I would stop playing it and maybe discuss the positive aspects of the game

The reason Funcom developed AOC is they believed that it is a good fantasy genre to create a new MMO world, they saw an opportunity.I don't think Norway has more Conan fans than the  US or other countries. :)

I don't think people would play a bad game just because of national pride but I do believe norwegian people are more forgiving regarding AoCs bad customer service, bugs, missing content etc.

Also the reason why we see so many norwegian, especially from Oslo, is probably because all of the devs at FC (100+?) are huge mmo fans and therefore must have accounts here at MMORPG.com. They probably visit these forums daily and participate in discussions. I know at least one regular poster who is FC dev but they have a right to be here just like all of us.

I know quite a few people having subs to both games and having a good time too. There is nothing wrong with that. Some people have issues if you play AoC at all, no matter where you are from, I just think they should seek some professional help.

Get some help will ya. If you apply that logic for AoC you could at least have done the same for WAR and Mythic.
