Well after a few months of a lot of bad games i have decided to come back to the game and right now I'm really hyped. This was the first MMO i have ever played and i wish it to be my last one ever played. I left in 05 to play WoW but still played on and off for a year i regret ever leaving though because i deleted my character thinking that i would not be playing again. I do have a 25 Warrior that i left behind that i plan on leveling soon as i jump in game don't get me wrong i will miss my higher level character but i also am looking forward to leveling up again. Seriously it was always fun making macros for your JA or just for fun then having a good laugh when you see how creative people got with them.

I will be playing on Bismarck because i have two friends that transfered there from Pandemonium that i pretty much hung out with most of the time. So if anyone on Bismarck just happens to see someone by the name of Lexin say hi and help me get my Kazham Airship Pass. lol j/k But yeah that is the first thing i have to get when i jump on so again if you play on Bismarck and see me say hi i wont bite unless "Provoked" and maybe we could level or something since i have a lot of that to do *sighs*.  Also i may need a Linkshell.

That sucks about having deleted your character. I did the same thing when I thought i was quitting for good. Deleted my original Shanree. 4 months later I was back.. starting over.

So good lesson learned... If you're leaving hte game, no matter how certain  you are when you quit that you won't be back.. do not delete the character.  'cause you never know

Good news is I'm way farther along with my new Shanree than the original was, so it's not all bad.

Seriously, have fun on Bismarck (hopefully Shazam won't do anything crazy...) and, again.. welcome back!

Thanks. I use to play on Pandy but when i was on beggining of the year did not see anyone i knew but i was going to jump ships anyway.

How far back did you play, and who were some of the folks you knew?

There are some who've moved on, others who've gone to other servers and others who actually have new characters they're playing... so maybe I can help ya track down anyone in particular

Welcome back to Vana and welcome to Bismarck.  If you need any advice/help/etc pleawse send me a tell.  If you need help a notice is generally preferred as i stay fairly busy in game.  And like WSIMike said, no matter how sure you are about quitting, always cancel content ID, not delete.  I've been to the point of "Screw it! I'm never coming back!" a couple times but i knew that there was always a chance.  I never deleted my characters.  Also, never give all your stuff away.  I always see people doing that.

Well i used the FFXIAH website and looked at activity and most the people i hung out with all the time have not played in a long time or they transfered to a new server. But i played from the PS2 launch to ToAU but on and off before and after ToAU.

Oh trust me this time around no way in hell i am deleting my character i learned that. Well i gave away all my stuff cause i was deleting my character and this was back during the inflation where the 1mil you have now was worth 15mil during that period. Now i wish i would have sold all my stuff and placed all the gil on my Taru think he only had somewhere between 500k and 1mil which of course again back then was not even a quarter of a Hauby.

But yeah hope to see you in game then. I have to get my friend to help get me the Kazham key first thing i gave him the option to MPK me (Joke between us). But yeah my main is Lexin and my Taru is Kakurot most likely i will be in Upper Jeuno AH by Chocobo Stable.

So i talked to my friend in game last night and found out DPS is needed now. I remember spending hours trying to find a PT for my Drk and now to hear it is easier to get a party brings a tear to my eye. However even with this knowledge I'm going to steer clear of leveling Drk and level Drk's Nemisis Drg. Going to level sync with my two friends this weekend and hopefully i will start leveling Drg by next week.
