Gonna Wait for Release Probably

I know the game is in Open Beta and it doesn't cost anything to try it out, so why not try it out? I decided to not try it out for two reasons. One, is because it takes 10 hours to download it for some reason. I'm only getting download speeds of around 100mb/s. Two, I've read plenty of bad things about the classes.

For instance, Knights cannot hold agro and Warriors have to use axes. I'm also not reading a lot of good about Dual Classes.

A friend of mine told me it's like a cheap version of WoW, except not nearly as good. Anyone with sense would bring up that RoM is free, but money isn't an issue for me, so I do compare the game to P2P games, especially since the game does bring in revenue, it just brings it in differently than subscription model games.

I bet RoM will be a good game one day and I will probably try it eventually, but the cons outweigh the pros currently.

Then I'll wait until after they fix these problems. I also want to wait until they put in all the classes. Do you know if they are planning any character wipes, because I don't want to lose the work I put into my character.

nah all the f2p mmos i know keep the stuff from open beta just cause its on mmorpg.com doesent make it any diffrent from any other f2p game and people that except anything else is a idiot

Hi,

we're not planning any wipe after the OB - and Runewaker (the Devs) and we are working very hard to resolve any outstanding balancing issues quickly. We don't want to stay in Beta forever but release the game officially.
