What do you use crouching for?

in Age of Conan: Unchained

I read the description of the Crouch mode and I have no idea what it really is used for. All I know is that if you are in pvp you take double damage.

    You use crouch when poeple are blocking you or when your in ah , it lets you move through pc's and npc's , other than that i dont see any point using it ( please correct me if im wrong here :P )

    Crouch is used to get past pleyers blocking your way. (Into or out of the trader i.e.)
