where would you buy this game, if it ever releases?

in Darkfall

Well it's 2 weeks to go in the good old UK.  And Game.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk two of the biggest game sellers don't even have it listed.  That is truely ominous!  You are telling me people are going to buy this game when in fact they CAN'T!  So the day of release will be the time when it goes on sale?  Or will it ever go on sale?

I think if by the 20th there is no listed of the game as an actual product, it's over.  If they don't push it out this time, they might as well forget it.  I say release it broken, the hardcore fans will still buy it and play it.

I personally think it's all vaporeware for sure now.  No way this is ever going to be released.

    Pretty sure it has been mentioned that the game is "supposed" to be available via digital download, not sure where they are in regards to hard copies.

    The game when it comes out, sooner or later will be on torrent or direct download.

     

    And its not vapor since i'm patching it right now

    Oh please, this is a forum and he can for sure ask things that he hasnt spent time investigating. If you take the time to flame him then you could have taken the time to answer him in a civil way as well or better yet if you are so bothered about him not investigating every single detail (something that you might like doing) then why simply not answer at all?

    I am sure there are other people who dont mind helping other people out.

    I simply used Google and found the answer in about 5 seconds, so I'm going to assume that neither of you use Google.

    There have been about 50 posts saying the exact same thing this one is, questioning if this game will come out and "Why oh why" are there no places online listed selling said product.

    So your encouraging his laziness and your also saying that making repeat posts is a good thing.

    DL only no boxes maybe ever. That ok in and of itself really, works for Eve very well. Some of my friends are nervous that theres been no further mention of the pre-order since they plan to use that time to scarf up the prime clan stones in the early access if that happens at all.

    Theres a topic no one on the beta forums will touch since they dont want AV to back off the early access. Even twenty people working together can most likely nail one stone and get a couple of buildings done before the release very easy since they already kow where to farm gold. Larger Clans can really stake out some good claims.

    The poor bastids that wait till release are going see the prime lots taken and have to make do with the hamlets. Funny stuff.

    Really?  You really think player housing and towns is going to be ready at launch?    Since, you know, they are working so well in the beta.  

    Also, NOBODY knows how to farm gold.  Have you seen the beta forums?  Players can't even kill mobs because they run away and reset so often.

    So the things that are necessary for people to get a 'headstart'

    grinding mobs for gold - nope

    player built cities actually working - nope

    Huh?  You might want to not make stuff up on a forum where numerous beta testers post.  Player housing freely placed was cut long ago, but cities are in with houses, and can be built on, sieged, etc.  Farming mobs for gold is perfectly viable as is farming numerous resources.  Two guilds have already constructed boats. 

    I don't know how more wrong you be with one post.  Maybe you could say mounts aren't in and working?
