Downloading question...

I'm currently downloading the client.   I have calculated the hours into days and at the rate I'm currently downloading the down load will finish in 24 months.   You read that correct.   24 months.  LOL.

OH... just noticed that was just for "1 of 4".    So I guess I won't be able to play for 8 years... Hope the game is still around when it finishes downloading.   I have a 4 meg cable high speed cable internet connection.

 

Anyone have any suggestions?

Check and see if you can download from another mirror or download site. Try using a downloading program because they can draw as many connections as possible to maximize speed. Also, if you haven't tried it yet see if you can download it as a torrent.

I went to fileshack and managed to download the client in 3 hours.

spent about 1.5 hours so far messing with the 3 races.    

The combat seems a bit wonky (choppy and lacking animation).   Additionally, to my ears the sound of melee combat sounds like repeatedly shutting the trunk of a '76 Cadillac Eldorado.
