LF space shooters

After playing Dark Horizon, I feel that I'm lacking in giant ships shooting colorful lasers into space. The genre is self -explanatory, and I don't care about graphics so long as it's younger than 03'. My computer can handle all the MMO's currently out right now, so I don't care about specs either.

I really don't want to play a strategy game nor do I want to play EVE Online. I want a game that has some good action, so I don't get bored.

Please don't recommend Jumpgate/Jumpgate Evolution, the X series, Dark Horizon, nor ACE online.
