Who cares? Seriously..

I don't give a crap about this game because I swore off of games containing elves several years ago.

That being said, I am UTTERLY AMAZED at the amount of energy wasted on speculation and aggressively defended opinions in this forum.

I stumbled in here just because of the massive amount of activity that seems to occur in this forum.  I only got through a few pages of the back and forth drivel before I was bored and disgusted.. with both sides.

REALITY CHECK: it's a frickin game.  It will either release or it won't.  You will either enjoy the gameplay or you won't.  This will likely have little to do with the features or graphics considered as individual points, but will have A LOT to do with what kind of synergy all the elements have together.  There will still be lots of people loving or hating the game when/ if it releases.

Hell, I'll probably try the game if they ever offer a free trial  (which is a prerequisite for any MMO I try these days).

But as for all of the forum weasels on both sides... GET A LIFE.. and wait until the game is out in the general public (the ONLY place that reliable reviews come from) before you start spewing BS again.

10 minutes in this forum made my head hurt.

deviliscious: (PS. I have been told that when I use scientific language, it does not make me sound more intelligent, it only makes me sound like a jackass. It makes me appear that I am not knowledgable enough in the subject I am discussing to be able to translate it for people outside the field to understand. Some advice you might consider as well)

    Is he complaining? Is he speculating? He's making a point of what he's observed, the only difference is he feels he needs his own thread about it instead of joining in on the 20,000 others already made.

    Totally pointless post.  If you aren't coming to these forums to discuss games, either pro or con, then why are you coming here?  You are disgusted that people have an opinion they defend with passion?  That is pretty corny for a guy posting on an MMO website.

    That old Darkfall magic.

    Will the game be good? Will the game be bad? Noone knows, but we do know this game creates controversy, and my guess is the Launch is just the beginning.

     

    Even you who have no interest in the game got taken in after only 10 minutes.

    Have to disagree with you there, only a tiny fraction of a half percent of MMORPG.COM actually go to forums to 'discuss games' .... everyones else flames, bitches or trolls. 

     

    The site should be renamed MMOW.COM   ..the 'w' is for whining, thats on either end of the spectrum... hell guess I'm a member now.

    I agree. This is true for any game pre-release where the hype and opinions/predictions are tossed around like hot potatoes.

    Amen, i have never seen a game attract the lowest common denominator in a community as much as this game has, on both sides of the fence.
