Muonline and K2 Corruption /moved
Hello mmorgp.com community. I'm posting here to let you know about K2 Network company and their hosted game MuOnline.
Since 2003 when K2 Network bought hosting rights from Webzen MuOnline began to sink down the drain.
Gm's are terrible without any knowledge of a game, Customer support is terrible too. Only like 10% of tickets will get actual answer, the rest will get an answer from a bot, or even wont get answer at all.
Hacks, bugs nothing is fixed, scamming is out of control, gm's telling that they cant do anything about scamming in-game.
Not so long ago a 15 year old guy with an help from other well-known hacker created a hack for MuOnline. (There were more of course) They could disconnect people from game, duplicate items and so on. So when that guy got banned, he contacted K2 gamemasters and offered help with blocking hacks.
Since K2 cant do anything about hacks they accepted his offer. Once a month (more like with huge delay) K2 posts a topic with banned people over month. That guy (hacker, that is currently supplying K2 with hacks and helping them to block them) has a character named Bk4hyon. His characted appeared in that ban-list, of course all community was happy about since MuOnline's main event Castle Siege became unplayable after Bk4hyon appearance.
After some time Ban-List topic was edited by Mm and Bk4hyon name was gone from there. That's when MuOnline community started to dig under K2. Bk4hyon kept appearing with uber items, that are almost impossible to make and to obtain. I wont go into details about MuOnline system but it is indeed truth.
So after some time a guy with nickname JeaN posted an evidence that K2 Network is supplying that hacker with uber items and so on. JeaN actually got access to one of GameMaster's PC and released MSN Logs. Those logs contained alot of information about K2 and Bk4hyon deal. He even recorded a video , to prove that he did it. 
Over 2 Full days that topic was alive in MuOnline forum. It had over 30k views just in 2 days. The funniest part was that Bk4hyon actually said that JeaN will go to jail for hacking K2 GM's Pc, now the hacker doesnt even hide it. K2 finally deleted it without any explanation as always.
Currently MuOnline is full of fail together with company hosting it.
I wonder if Intel knows how K2 Network cares about their customers and their hosted games, since K2 Network Obtained $16M in Funding Led by Intel http://www.virtualworldsnews.com/2007/06/k2_network_obta.html

tho i have to add that its not the first time things like this happened.
some time ago there was a gamemaster called h4ppi and he did pretty much the same thing, he gave items away to a player and in return the player was moderating forums (correct me if im wrong)
Playing Knight Online, you will see that the bots is very rampats and yet nothing is being done about it. What they want is only to scam players money but service is nil.
I would advise all players to keep away from any games by this horrible company....

Not to mention that all cheaters hacked at the face of K2 and the company did nothing about it! Just let them cheating in game, laughing at the community and destroying the market with their illegal items. They didn't punish none of them!

Im muonline player also. After 2+ years of being K2 customer i must say that this is the worst and less customer care company i ever seen.
They are simply thiefs. You pay for:
- Support, but there is no support
- Events, but there are no events, or events are corrupted.
-Seals which improve Your exp and drop but seals simply dont working.
and many more.
Last example: Game serwers crashed last thursday. They did nothing with it and left crashed game cause they dont working at the weekends. Today is monday and they still didnt solved it. More. They even didnt make a notice what is going on. xx thousands of players has bought premium acces to game, has bought this extra seals and all will lose it cause there is no such thing as compensation in K2 vocabulary.
My advice. Do not play any game hosted by k2 network. They will take Your money and gives You nothing.
Yeah, but the bots is a minor problem here. Hacks, bugs and terribad gm's are the main one's
K2 are pathetic. Especially their Mms, they are useless and a bunch of liars.
Mm are ccharacters made by K2 Network and are suppose to hold ingame events. Sure it sounds good, but the thing with them is that they give advantage to their friends ingame. For exaple there is an event where you´r suppose to find and trade with an Mm to get a prize, most of the time they are too tired to make the events, so they just announce it, after 10 secodns they write that they´ve been found and write sone name that does not excist, and give the winnings to their friends
That´s not all, recently we´ve been having Mms around our hanging places to talk or duel. When we wan´t to try to be helpful and give them some advice of what they can do to prevent a few things, like bugging in castle siege, all they do is to say what we wan´t to hear. Like I told an MM that we need one Mm in ThroneRoom (where the bugging occurs at) to disconnect people that abuse this bug, the Mm said "yes we will have 4 Mms there 100%). When the event started, nobody saw a single Mm there, and the event is 3 hours long!
Seriously, they are highly incompetent and a disgrace.

too many pple were waiting for better Customer support or game guard updates to control the hackers
but they are just getting our money and suporting hackers in game
Worst thing is that the global server is behind everybody els. So it´s so easy to prevent "hack-eras" to occue. All you haveto do is to check with other MU servers to see how they handles id. But I guess that´s too much work for K2
Also K2 gave a lame excuse some months ago why it was so hard to prevent hacking ingame. They said that the MU engine is too old so it´s easy for hackers to Bypass it. Simple answer that we´ve nagged and nagged to K2 100 times already:
With season 4 there will come a new engine which means that to bypass it is harder. SO JUST GIVE US SEASON4!

Incompetence. This is just too silly.
Just to stress a few things:
Before selling the global license, Webzen (the developer of the game) was a also the hoster. There were hackers and problems but they actually fought hard to ban every hack user. The game was also totally free-to-play by the time and the company had free support which I needed once and had nothing to complain about it.
The problems mentioned by other posters have started just after K2 Network had taken the game from Webzen. This game has a long history of curruption, abuses and even illegal actions from K2 Network (see also BBB) but never we had such strong evidences as now.
The topic we posted in their official forum, which had over 1000 posts and 30000 views was deleted hours ago.
edit: another topic was opened and had about 150 posts and 30000 views. deleted by another employee.
Yep as always they chose to cover everything up by deleting the topic, but it's kinda stupid from their side as LOTS of people seen the evidences against K2 Network already

First of all K2Network is one of the most pathetic companies I have ever seen. Their motto is: “Gamers first”, but in real they don’t even pay attention to the in-game issues. People pay for support but they never get it. We also pay a lot of money for P2P + G1 Credits, but the only thing we receive is bugged servers and hackers on every realms.
The worst thing is that one of players had found out the horrible truth. Namely he got information about the deals between K2Network and a hacker. There are a lot of proofs which can’t be beaten. K2Network has been totally owned. This situation really makes us angry.
Another issue concerns connecting to game. K2Network made a “small” server maintenance some days ago (5?) and since those days we cannot play MU. Servers are crashing every minute and we are not able to log in. A lot of people had lost their G1Credits. Players are really mad and there isn’t any news from K2Network.
They are probably too lazy to post any information on forum or even on website, which hasn’t been updated for many months.
Yes and this is not first time, it happens few time some time ago. The worst thing its that they never do notice about current problems.
Second topic about K2 deal with hacker was deleted without giving gmo community an explanation. As always. K2 Networs is by far the worst mmo hosting company.
Its so sad how this company can ruin a good game...

dear victims cause we are all victims of k2 i am sure all wanted where kamil bk4hyon found so many items well yea he is hacker we all know that but he use his hack to help k2 but why he do that well he did that cause all his accounts banned and he tell them i help you and you will unblock my accounts yea cool kamil is talking with gryfus like everyday telling the bugs what must be fixed and ect but who will do that for free huh? only if he get something in reward like the EXC DARK MASTER SET DD REF DSR ofc his hyon max and bone blades max and all other times he may buy them with dupped souls and bless what i am trying to say is that k2 is giving him items and ublock his all accounts to just help them he is testing with his cheat LeoProxy with gryfus the bugs and ect but hell yea help ok i understand it but to give him items as reward its sucks and unblock his accounts cause kamil is just 15 years old or something my english is not very good if you dont understand hell yea i have all the logs when kamil was talking with gryfus i hope no mod delete this threat and someone do something personally i quit mu when i see the logs cause is fuccccking awesome what is happening i will upload the logs and add a link for them if some one want to read all of them cause its a lot thanks and bb to all i dont want to be a victim
