Clockwork orange, never seen it, probably never will. Two girls one cup, seen like 15 seconds of it. Honestly it looked kind of fake. But the imagery and thought behind it made me a bit sick to my stomach.

Actually, come to think of it...no I haven't watched any of those gross movies like SAW or any chop them up with axes, machetes, or whatever movies...I find them to gross for my taste - sorry. I dunno why anyone would wish to view such garbage. I remember when the new Rambo movie came out and I heard how violent it was when depicting the battles - sorry will never see it. I have a hard time seeing people mangled, blown up and what not. I cannot even watch an operation...at all. Movies that depict rape...no way no how. Sorry. It's just me. Don't think nothing of it. Oh and yea...I am good at FPS's...maybe not the greatest...but I can hold my own. These were from this morning playing on the ISI Christian Server(No Vehicles) 64 man map.
Clockwork orange is a very good movie and it deals with very specific social issues. It has a couple of scenes that may be considered heavy hitting but that's about it. The point of the "bad" scenes was to hate the main hero but also feel pity for him as the movie progresses, so they have their place. Other than that movie tastes are as many as there are movies:P
And I haven't heard about that clip/movie whatever it was, but I am pretty sure whatever it is, people have filmed worse.

Of course, some people considered A Clockwork Orange to be too radical for viewing, hence it being, at one time, withdrawn from Britain, rated X in the US and banned by the Catholic Church. Heh - I'm sure it's still banned by Churches! These days, however, you can buy it unrated on DvD (it's rated R in the US now, I think) and catch the full version on television. Which is good, in my opinion, because it really does deserve the recognition.

Actually, come to think of it...no I haven't watched any of those gross movies like SAW or any chop them up with axes, machetes, or whatever movies...I find them to gross for my taste - sorry. I dunno why anyone would wish to view such garbage. I remember when the new Rambo movie came out and I heard how violent it was when depicting the battles - sorry will never see it. I have a hard time seeing people mangled, blown up and what not. I cannot even watch an operation...at all. Movies that depict rape...no way no how. Sorry. It's just me. Don't think nothing of it. I have no objection to people watching what they wish to, just don't try to push what you like off on me - ain't going to happen.
When I watch movies like Saving Private Ryan or some other violent depiction in a movie a lot of times I'll just close my eyes so I do not have to view it. I know, I know....I must have some kind of mental hang up. Maybe so...
It's funny...lol...did you know I have actually cried after killing someone in a game before. Weird huh. I dunno what triggers it, but when I use to play against my ex or say my friend Thomas sometimes I would take one of them out...I'd cry and have to stop playing.
I love games like BF2 and Planetside though. For the challenge of competition. I am just glad they don't show blood and stuff. I had a horrible time with AOC after a bit because of all the blood and gore. I finally turned the blood off.
Oh and yea...I am good at FPS's...maybe not the greatest...but I can hold my own. These were from this morning playing on the ISI Christian Server(No Vehicles) 64 man map.

Clockwork orange is a very good movie and it deals with very specific social issues. It has a couple of scenes that may be considered heavy hitting but that's about it. The point of the "bad" scenes was to hate the main hero but also feel pity for him as the movie progresses, so they have their place. Other than that movie tastes are as many as there are movies:P
And I haven't heard about that clip/movie whatever it was, but I am pretty sure whatever it is, people have filmed worse.

Now I can totally understand teh 2 girls 1 cup thing. I've not seen it myself and don't want to.
But to totally dismiss what is in fact a VERY good film because of what you may have heard about it is a bit over the top don't you think? What have you heard about it that puts you off? Also do you watch any sort of modern horror film like Saw etc? way way more disturbing just because of there visceral content.
A Clockwork Orange is a rather damning verdict on society and the (especially at the time) controls of Government over the people which their laws have helped to create.
I really would suggest you watch it. It's not nerely as bad as people make out. Otherwise find a copy of the "complete" book with his redemption in the final chapter (which was cut out for American Publication) and read that.

I wasn't sure about Two Girls One Cup so I looked it up. It appears to be some sort of nasty fetish film, although some seem to think it's a statement on declining morals. I don't see their point and I wouldn't watch something like that, either. But A Clockwork Orange? It was a brilliant book and became one of Stanley Kurbrick's best films. There were some shocking moments, but they were also not out of context with the storyline and not as shocking as what is considered mainstream in a lot of films and even television these days. Yes, unlike what ever that horrible fetish film mentioned was, there was a story. The book is a recognised literary statement and the film is relevant. A university friend of mine did a dissertation on dystopian fiction and A Clockwork Orange was probably the one most discussed other than Nineteen Eighty-Four and Atlas Shrugged.
It doesn't seem quite right to put what seems to be a trashy bit of fetish porn in the same catagory as A Clockwork Orange, which is usually considered to be a rather important social and political film. Of course, some people considered A Clockwork Orange to be too radical for viewing, hence it being, at one time, withdrawn from Britain, rated X in the US and banned by the Catholic Church. Heh - I'm sure it's still banned by Churches! These days, however, you can buy it unrated on DvD (it's rated R in the US now, I think) and catch the full version on television. Which is good, in my opinion, because it really does deserve the recognition.

Let me clue you in on something "junior". The reason the internet you love so much even exists is due to porn. It is what drives the internet now.
