im sorry but having a rated arena system, one pvp zone and the same battlegrounds forever basically means WoWs pvp is still tacted on to their actually decent pve mechanic.
Pvp is an addon and nothing more. all these little mini games were developed because most WoW players can't deal with large raid difficulty. hell blizzard had to get rid of 40 man raids because only the hardcore EQ raiders could actually do top tier content. It's a fact that less then 5% actually got threw Naxx before Tbc hit. So pvp is a newb gift for unskilled pvers.
Gotta give it up to blizzard it was a smart move.
Edit: before you say pve takes no skill need I remind you of the pvers that used to pvp in AQ40 and Naxx gear and Wtf pwn high ladder pvpers? yeah shows how skilled those players were and how skilless pvpers in wow are.

half of the PvPers in wow are twinks and so do no end-game PvP or arenas. they do not take skill, with enough money you can get the best gear and pawn the battlegrounds, but that doesn't make you a good player. most of them are really really bad players, the only reason they win is because they have superior gear, or gank up on individuals while shouting "OMG PWN UR A$$ NOOB 111NOOB111".

i started playing wow when it first launched then i left after sunwell opened up and i was hoping on hearing that the world pvp gotten better. can someone tell me if this game is worth coming back to anymore?
i was never really into the whole do 7 matches of arena and wait a week for your arena points to get your gear kinda player... i was more into the whole out door REAL pvp.

I would go to Wows official PVP forum and read up there instead of the basing my decision on the responses of a few rabid Wow fanbois here.. You can read dozens of threads from hundreds of dedicated Wow players and how unhappy they are with PvP now..
My son seems to be having a nice time. He has a little paladin its cute seeing him run around and when he dies he gets to respawn fast like in some kind of FPS. Its good for him, teaches him about pvp and with no Death penalty he doesn't get stressed out or upset. You should see the little guy in 3v3 arenas he's jumping all over the room laughing with his friend from school. So i would say WoWs pvp is fun and from my sons reaction it didn't need to get better.

Official Arena play is organised around 3vs3 and play balance is group based on this and 5vs5.
In 5vs5 ... 9 classes out of 10 are in the top 4 arena teams. What more could you want ?

I have played WoW since launch and can say that the pvp in the game has been horrible for well over 2 years. Season 2 of arena marked the end of its and it has gone south every since. Get used to it because frankly the game is all about pve with a splash of pvp because of the two factions.
WoW has the best balanced pvp in any MMORPG out today. Every class can kill every class and they are all very different in pvp. It's gear based, so if you're not doing raids to get the best equipment once you hit the lvl cap you're done, it's like fighting level 80's while you're level 70. You just won't win.
Aside from the very highest lvls, the game is incredibly balanced and anyone who says it's unfair is just upset that they can't win in pvp. I died alot, but I also won a lot more.
You'll always play someone with more skill than you, someone who plays more and is more diehard, but that's just life. You're never the best.
again, wow is the best pvp balanced game on the market, and most entertaining with quick movement and fast reactions.

heh just player emotion .. weather good or bad all players are participating for emotion .. even you in your undying defense of Wow you are doing it out of emotion , without it there would be no reason to play weather its happy, anger,hate ,joy,power,elitist,loyalty,friendship we all play with emotion .. I have played WoW since launch and can say that the pvp in the game has been horrible for well over 2 years. Season 2 of arena marked the end of its and it has gone south every since. Get used to it because frankly the game is all about pve with a splash of pvp because of the two factions.
WoW has the best balanced pvp in any MMORPG out today. Every class can kill every class and they are all very different in pvp. It's gear based, so if you're not doing raids to get the best equipment once you hit the lvl cap you're done, it's like fighting level 80's while you're level 70. You just won't win.
Aside from the very highest lvls, the game is incredibly balanced and anyone who says it's unfair is just upset that they can't win in pvp. I died alot, but I also won a lot more.
You'll always play someone with more skill than you, someone who plays more and is more diehard, but that's just life. You're never the best.
again, wow is the best pvp balanced game on the market, and most entertaining with quick movement and fast reactions.
