Games To Roleplay?

Hi, i like roleplaying in mmorpgs and online games, i have tried it in neverwinter nights 1 & 2, San Andreas Online and other games like Guild Wars where i roleplayed with some friend but i wanted to know if there is any F2P mmorpg where people usually roleplays, i dont mind if there´s just a RP server or all user roleplay.

    Few and far between i find most game full of power gamers and hard core gear bots to say the least. LOTRO is not free but its got the far best RP. i forget what server is all RP you would have to check threads. An not only that the players are very freindly and will go out of the way to help. I still think that RP is still more enjoyable if you like games like DnD. I am an advid fan of the game. Who knows mabey the next time they release a DnD online game they will do it right.

    I just started trials of both World of Warcraft and Guild Wars, and while I like Guild Wars better (so far), there is more roleplaying in WOW.

    Now if I could find a roleplay-focused guild to play with, that would make life easier.

    guild wars does have better Role playing BUT it is basically a single player game. If you can play by yourself OR are really good at makin friends guild wars is your game if you already are starting to like it :)

    Go LOTRO :)

    really, right now you can have the basic game for 9.99, and the expansion you can find cd keys for 19.90.

    If yoy like roleplay, and like lord of the rings (which is obvious, if you role play :P), run and grab lotro. RP there is awesome, the game seems designed for it, you could stay at level 20 forever and still have a lot of fun, no pressure to get better gear like wow, you can savour every moment, every landscape, and find that everything that was in the books of tolkien is there.

    Everquest I & II was big with the role playing crowd. Haven't played for a few years though. Not sure what its like now.

    try Moon Guard or Wyrmrest Accord.

     

    Argent Dawn doesn't have as much open RP as those two.
