European Roleplayer, where to go?

Hello everyone. I'm considering buying everquest 2 because after so many years I've finally had enough of WoW. My problem is that I prefer to be on RP servers but there doesn't seem to be a european one. Now aside from roleplaying I do like questing, grouping and raiding and I'm kind of wondering which server to pick. AB seems a heavy populated RP server but I fear that it would be hard to find a raiding guild or even pugs in European times. There are two european servers, but neither is RP, it seems however the advantage is that it would be much easier to find groups because the timezones match. Are there any europeans playing on AB who can give me an indication of the population, the pugging and raiding in their timezones? Is there a large active European raiding population on AB or am i much better off going to a Euro server if I want to see all content?

Finally, are there roleplayers on the Euro servers or are they frowned upon and generally chased away to the american RP servers?

Ey there.

id advise you to join Antonia Bayle or however its spelt, its the main server that PvE but it does have a LOT of RP guilds, and no they arent frowned upon, and it is a euro server anyways. So, seems to be your best bet!

Now i totally forgot about your other questions, woops. But yeah, there is a nice population of raiding guilds, theres good pugging in every bracket ive made it into so far, which is the 50 bracket. Lots of people always on, i see people gaining their mythicals all the time, my guildees are pugged into raids daily. Its a good standpoint id say.

Well Antonia Bayle IS the RP server, however it is also very overpopulated. I would make toons on the EU servers, Antonia and Lucan De Lere (the other RP server) and see what you likes best. You can have 7 toons so make several and check the servers out, AB is so populated so it may be better to roll on a smaller server.

There are several EU guilds on AB, Journey, Tapiolan Sankarit, Einheriar, Secret Keepers and one EU RP guild House ReaMorda (I think they are mostly UK.).  Several guilds has level limits nowadays and the ones are just from memory you will have to check them out yourself. If you are interested in RP go to

Town Square as that is the main site for EQ2 role players on all servers. Most of the Major RP guilds has some daytime US players however all events are evenings US times on AB.

Slight correction: you can have 7 characters on the EU servers AND 7 characters on the Test server AND 7 characters on the US servers.
