The thought of playing around with metrosexual emo kid looking toons with goofy fairy wings still feels crappy, but from what I've been hearing on the forums and whatnot, I think I wanna give Aion a try. It seems like everyone is enjoying it.

I don't know much about the game yet, so my question is, is there any sort of an open beta coming any time soon?

Open Beta is in august.

 

You can get in on this weekends 1-10 preview with a preorder. And by that you can preorder from gamestop.com, select pickup at sore and your charged nothing, beta key is emailed to you instantly pretty much.  Just cancel the preorder then.. or maybe keep it who knows.

 

EDIT: Theres actually beta weekends every other weekend through august.

Sounds cool.  Coming from other western mmo's that are older, its like buying a new car. . .that new leather smell and updated features.

Hehe...nice thing is that no one has to be that pointy-haired elf eared character just to get into the magic pool   I've made a grumpy old man with wrinkles, torn face and thick beard.
